Dr. Bulovos gave me additional time & options I wouldnt have had otherwise. My boxer/ mastiff mix was 10 years old, & had a known (yet well controlled) cardiomyopathy when she needed emergency surgery to have a foreign body removed from her small bowel. I called nearly a dozen places trying to get her in & half wouldnt even touch her because they considered her age & heart problems too high a risk for sedation, the others were double in cost and/ or wanted the full amount up front. Luckily I had been recommended Dr. Bulovos by a friend & once their office was open I called & even just the first 2 minutes on the phone with Devon was a night & day difference! She was like, "no problem... bring her in now". I told her I lived in Katy... "okay, well see you when you get here" was all she said! Dr. Bulovos is the honey badger of vets! His surgical & obs fees were more affordable too! They kept her an additional 2 or 3 days after her surgery to ensure she was eating & digesting properly, & the total cost still came out $1500 to 2 grand less than the places that were on the lower priced end. She did well after the surgery but unfortunately she had developed a very gradual narrowing of the duodenum & eventually wasnt able to hold anything down. I have been a CAT Scan/ X-ray Technologist for more than 15 years & 9 of those have been in the ER working right along side the doctor & nurse... there are way more similarities in canine & humans than not, & I know a good doctor when I hear one too! Dr. Bulovos is an incredibly kind person but hes also a straight/ no BS kind of guy too. I cant say enough about the staff here! From the front office staff to the vet techs, to the physicians... a truely talented & caring team if Ive ever seen one! Besides Dr. Bulovos (of course), Dr. Macfarlane is the just the sweetest, most compassionate Vet EVER! I only ever realky dealt with 1 I went in on Dec. 7th thinking after 3 days there it was time to let my baby go. When I arrived I talked with Dr. Bulovos who then told me that although she was not likely to improve, that she wasnt in pain & I was fine to take her home. After spending a couple more days with her I decided that wed have one more night together & Id take her in & have her put down the next morning as she was so weak & had become unsteady & intermittently disoriented. I talked/ sang to, & rubbed her head until I fell asleep. When I woke up she was gone. She passed peacefully, at home, in bed, lying next to me as she had done every night, for the last 10 years before. Dr. Bulovos gave 3+ months & another 3 days at home with me. This may not be worth noting but to me, a single woman with no children, siblings, parents, or other family, saying goodbye this way, to my only baby MEANT THE WORLD! There is never an easy way or a good time to say goodbye, still I know that choosing Dr. Bulovos & his team was the absolute best decision I couldve made!!!

Dr. Bulovas treated my dog 7 years ago for heart worm, did a fabulous treatment no other vet would attempt. One of my boxers was hit by a Mac truck and died. Dr Bulovas took her in, no charge and said he would get everything handled. We moved away from the area and proceeded with another vet. Years later when my vet would not see my boxer after a seizure, I decided I needed to be back where the vet cares and does a great job. Dr. Bulovas was very resourceful and used the tests, X-rays and other info from the other vet and kept my bill down as I had spent quite a bit of money at the previous vet. I suppose this is the reason he is "best in The Woodlands", 8 years in a row! The staff is great and does not try to push any unnecessary added extras like food and laser therapy as my old vet staff did. I received nothing but the facts and exceptional service! I would recommend Dr. Bulovas to everybodys know. My bill ended up less expensive than my previous vet. Try this great vet for your fur baby! You will not be disappointed!!

Overpriced. Service is ok, but you get just as good care at 1/2 the price at other hospitals. Not everyone who lives in The Woodlands is made of Money. If you have money to burn go here, otherwise try one of the other local vets, great service with much lower prices.

Highly recommend! Dr Bulovas and his staff are quick, friendly, professional, and to the point. Will definitely be long time customers of this office. Just took our dog in for an annual check up and we were seen quickly and had all questions answered.

The team is always very attentive and although Claire, our terrier mix, doesnt like coming here (as humans dont like going to doctors) for obvious reasons, we always bring our dogs to their vets. Very good service.

Helped me out over the holidays with my pups broken leg. Gave me a great deal. Unfortunately we have to go back and have it redone other than that its a good place for last minute emergency
