I wouldnt recommend this vet to my worst enemy. I no longer have a pet, my best friend, because of this place. In June of 2011, I boarded my pug, Butch, here for a 6 day vacation i was taking. On the last day of my vacation I recieve a phone call saying that my dog was found dead after a healthy check up and there was a bad storm with a power outage that resulted in high temperatures in the facility. During the phone call there was no mention of a bill or any expense to me. Three months later I recieve a bill for services rendered for $310.50. Overwhelemed, I called the Hospital asking if this was an oversite, and was rudely informed that it wasnt, and that if there is a person who dies in a hospital isnt there a bill. Well people arent brought to the hospital if they are healthy. I would never recommend this place to anyone and hope that this may help you when looking for a vet.

I was charged $62 for a follow up appointment for my dog after paying $197 four days prior. I was not informed of this and when I stated that I would not return and it was a rip off the staff was very rude. Gretchen lied and stated that I threw an ink pen at her, which was totally not true. And as I was walking to my vehicle with both my dogs in my hands, the doctor stormed out of the office charging me yelling and screaming with his hands in my face. I asked him to stay away from me but he continued to approach me knowing I could not defend myself with 2 dogs. I would not recommend this clinic, the staff is dishonest and becomes very angry and aggressive when you do not agree with their practices.

I have a minature schnauzer that I have boarded off and on for two years with Bluebonnet Veternarian Hospital. Although Dr. Ron is not my dogs vet, he still boards her. They always keep her up to date on the bordetella shots. If she is due for one, they will ask to give it to her while she is boarding. The prices are pretty reasonable. I usually drop off early in the morning on Friday and pickup Late Monday afternoon and I have only paid 7-12 dollars a day. It is very convienent dropping off and not having to worry about carting the dog with you on vacation or weekend getaways. Highly recommend Bluebonnet Vet for boarding smaller breeds.

Dr. Ron and his staff are wonderful. They have worked our pets into their busy schedules many times on very short notice, and always happy to do so. We met Dr. Ron when he worked at the pet emergency hospital, where he saved our beloved Akitas life. Were so thankful for everything he has done. Prices have been very reasonable. Everyone in the office is friendly, and seems to really love what they do and whom they do it for. Happy to be a loyal client and even happier for our cherished animal family!

This vet is WAY overpriced and charges for extra, unnecessary services you do not authorize. I have spent hundreds of dollars I could have saved taking my pet elsewhere. If you go here, be prepared to give this guy a good portion of your money because he certainly will take it.

I think I was treated a little tersely because its not my regular vet. I didnt know it was there and considered changing, but at double the cost of the medication Ill have to pass on that.

Dr. Ron and Ms. Robin are wonderful. This is a great group that will take care of your pet. My mother lives in Bossier city and brings her poodle down here to see Dr. Ron.

Dr Ron and staff are awesome. Saved my dogs life over the weekend when she suffered an asthma attack prompted by over exertion. Treatment was prompt and effective.
