I Dont think it deserves the one star I just gave it!!!!...This one is LOW ON THE TOTEM POLE IN MY BOOK NOW!...Took my dog to this vet for over 10 yrs. Thought my dog was fine but just aging. not sick or showing any signs of anything wrong. Recently my dog had to go into a Foster home for a brief period (3 wks) during our move. All the animals entering the program have to be fully checked before they are placed within a temporary foster home. Well I found out today from the Vet at the shelter over the Foster home that my dog has bone cancer and it should have been detected a while ago with blood tests!!!...... I most certainly expected better from "this caring vet" - especially after 11 yrs of his personal attentive service......Save yourself the future headache and sorrow - keep seeking a better establishment for your extended family member because there ARE better Drs out here. Pay the extra if the Doctor is professional!!.....DO NOT bring your animal here if you want the pet to survive....... Now its too late for my baby as I should have sought a more professional Hospital a few years ago....So much for TRUST..

Sunday evening my husband and I discovered that our senior dog had a hard, tight stomach. Concerned that it could be the onset of bloat we knew it was important to get her to the Vet right away. I called Bensenville Animal Hospital promptly at 10 am Monday morning and explained that we were new to the area and that my pet would be a new patient. The receptionist put me on hold, I assume to speak to the Vet, then came back and informed me that because we were not regulars we would have to wait until Friday. I have no veterinary training but I am aware of how serious bloat can be. Appalled by their disregard for my pets well being I made the trek out to the city to her previous Vet, Milaknis Animal Hospital on Western Ave., where I did not wait to be seen, had her promptly diagnosed and was given a prescribed method of treatment for $30 whole dollars. In short, Bensenville Animal Hospital had no concern for my pets well being. Even if they are located around the corner from my home, I will always choose to take the drive to Mlaknis Animal Hospital in the city.

Had been taking my cat Geralt here for the past 3 months every other week because something always seemed to be wrong. Vet told me he had an upper respiratory infection, was treated. Turned out he had worms in his lungs so i bought treatment. I had him fixed here and he had been drinking SO much water and using his litterbox frequently when i had his urine tested they told me that there was nothing wrong. I took him to Elmhurst animal clinic, the treatment i payed for was for an upper respiratory infection so wasnt actually treating his worms and has had a serious UTI for the past week. So thank you Bensenville animal hospital for ripping me off and endagering my cat. Go to Elmhurst animal clinic! Theyre well staffed with actual professionals and have given my kitty better treatment FOR LESS MONEY.

Decent service. The place has a local and community feel. Building is very small!! Located in front of an apartment complex. Vets didnt seem well rounded and referred me to go to google for advice. I brought in a stray kitten and they didnt really know what to say to me. I asked for advice and food suggestions etc, and it seemed that I had learned more from the inter webs than they could tell me. Dont get me wrong, theyre nice, sociable people, but lack information. Efficient shots - they sell you pretty quick on things that cost money. I went to get a free checkup - original priced at $40. Shots for kittens are about $20, free nail clipping, and $45 of so for leukemia tests. Barely sufficient for a general checkup, not sure how it would originally cost $40.

Not impressed at all. The Vet didnt even want to touch my dog. He was scared of him. It was the first exam since i was a new client and the fee was waved but they have to do a better job at attracting clients. Didnt even check my dog for anything. I had to be the one opening my dogs mouth to show him his teeth which was the one concern i had. My dog wasnt aggressive... he was just nervous and trying to escape the table. But i guess this was enough to scare the vet. I rather pay more in another place that trusting my dog to a vet that looks like he never dealt with a dog before.

Nice doctors, quick in and out, but thats because their prices are...expensive... Nearly two times the cost of other places. As nice as of a place it is I cant hold my self to give them 5 stars when they change 120 bucks for vaccinations that were $65 at another vet.

Receptionist and other girls in office were extremely nice. The Dr came in, gave my kittens shots and dewormer and left. He didnt examine them at all. No wonder the first "exam" is free.
