It was a horrible experience last night. If they place you in the fast track area you will sit for an hour and never be see. If you see someone come in for registration with blonde hair and glasses just leave because she is very rude and disrespectful. This is not the first incident I had with her but it will be my last. If you ask for the charge nurse Michelle she is not helpful at all. She will lie and say someone will be in to register you so you can be seen by the doctor but no one comes in. There was no wait last night. I believe is was about 8 patients roomed but it still took over an hour and the doctor never came in the room. This hospital needs training and help with people skills. The charge nurse Michelle should not be a charge nurse because she is a liar and just as rude as the girl in registration. When I asked for my things to leave. She showed back up and smiled......didnt ask what was wrong or why I was leaving. I requested to sign something to state, "I did not see the doctor". She brought it to me and after reading it, "It stated I was leaving after staff suggested I dont". I refused to sign it because Michelle was the only staff I seen and she said nothing. Horrible ED to go to. It use to be the total opposite. Maybe they should hire wisely choose better registration staff and charge nurses. I also had a neighbor there who informed me they stated they were not going to help me so I can leave. She was in the room acroos from the nurses station. Not my first experience....I had some bad experiences but this was by far the WORSE.

I went in for constipation and asked for a scan to ensure it was constipation and not something else (like tumor etc). They did not discuss why they ordered other procedures (2 ultra sounds and an urine sample...other than they thought I was pregnant but even then they didnt tell me the results, if that why they took my urine!!). Their system was down and so I remained patient with the staff but the doctor did not follow up with the results of anything until I started asking questions of their staff and hanging around the front desk on 4 different occasions. I asked multiple times why they were doing other procedures and not letting me know the results of what they were testing me for, constipation, which I initially came in to their ER reporting as my primary problem. The more I asked questions about why they were doing every thing but scan my stomach, the less information I got about my results and mixed messages about why they were giving me 2 ultra sounds!! And at the end the doc walks in and states that I have a lot of poop in my intestines and walks out!!! I was done! I was prescribed a 2 dollar magnesium laxative and sent home to follow up with my other doctor and obygn. I pray to God their bill isnt outrageous for telling me what I already know..im constipated and have a fibroid (which I told the staff before the 2 ultrasounds). The lady at the front desk was wonderful and the woman who did my xray was very kind and assisted me in getting discharged after 4 hours, for which I have them 1 star.

I got a bone density and mammogram on a Thursday. I was taken back to a room to get it done (no one else was waiting). So I sat there about 15 minutes then I went walking around room to room and was yelling "Is anyone in here?" OF course I got no reply because no one know I was there!! I went out to the hall and asked the cleaning lady if she could find someone to help me and she did. When the gal finally arrived she said "No one told me you were back here!" Really? Do we not know how to communicate in this small facility?? I was told my doctor would have the results of both tests the next day. I called my doctors on the NEXT Wednesday (4 business days!!) and neither doctor had any results. I called to get my results and was transferred 5 times and when I finally got to a department - I HAD TO LEAVE A MESSAGE!! Really? VOICE MAIL! I will never go back to this facility. Very unorganized and does not follow thru on what they say they are going to do. They suck! Follow up call for my results - I was told that there have been no radiologists to read my results of the bone scan.....for 4 days?? A medical facility with NO RADIOLOGISTS ON STAFF - THEY ALL ARE OFF FOR THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.....AT THE SAME TIME?? HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?? Whatever - dont go to this facility - go the one on East Broad by 270 - they are so much better!

I was taken to this Medical Center by ambulance for a kidney stone issue. Apparently staff is unaware of what a medical alert medallion is for. I was admitted and repeated refused care which was indicated by my medical alert and my disability. Finally nearing shock, over 900 miles from home with no family there, I was told I would have walk out on my own and find the next nearest care facility. That is just what happened. They are no where near public transports and cabs are big if, I had to struggle my way across a busy highway to the nearest pharmacy and purchase what I could there until I could get to my vehicle and use my epipin. It was like being in the twilight zone! The staff refused to acknowledge my medical alert issues and severe allergy. I begged for them to listen as my upper airways closed and my throat began to shut. They did nothing but watch and consider me the problem, even going as far as putting a guard at my door to observe all activities. As a sixty year old with an artificial joint, I never raised my voice in anger, I never made any threats, all I wanted was for them to read my Medical Alert Information and they just refused to. I have no reason as to why not, they were just indifferent to my medical condition. My advise, never go in at all, if you do have to, never go in alone!

Came in with my fiancé about 6 months after he had what appeared to be a seizure. They ran EKG, blood and urine panels and discharged him saying it was just a syncopy. Same incident occurred and we came back to Diley. They got us in a room in about 30 minutes, ran a scan and found swelling in the brain. Their MRI machine wasnt running so they tried to transfer us to Mt. Carmel and their MRI wasnt running. WTH? They discharged us and told us to come back at 9am. We checking in via the iTriage app on our way to Diley. When we got here my fiancé checked in. We sat around for hour before they called him back up to the check in desk and asked him why he was here and if it was a knee problem. Im pretty sure they check in person was either on his first day or seriously incompetent. I dont use Mt. Carmel facilities often and if Diley is in partnership with them it reflects badly on the Mt. Carmel health system. Been waiting 2 hours now for a follow up MRI, thank God he didnt have another seizure while we were waiting.
