My wife went in with a small cut on her forehead. The staff was excellent, but the doctor looking at the cut said she did not have the appropriate sutures to take care of it and she advised us to go to the Emergency Care Center at the OhioHealth Westerville Medical Campus, 300 Polaris Parkway, Westerville, OH 43082. At the at the latter facility they simply glued the cut closed--no additional diagnostics or consultation, and it cost us a fortune because of the facility costs. It is only a Level One Emergency if you go there for something routine, like having stitches removed. For gluing my wifes cut it was Level 2, with the associated outrageous costs.

Doctor told me my cold was probably allergies, prescribed me a medicine thats on a nationwide back order and told me to take an allergy medicine that is listed in my notes that Im allergic to. I have a history of bronchitis and when I get sick like this I typically need an inhaler and was not given one nor did he ask about it. I also had to ask the lady who brought me my discharge papers if I was contagious, she told me no and then told me to hold on because she wanted to ask the doctor and he told her that I am. For one, he should have told me Im contagious, and two how are allergies contagious?! Dont waste your time going to this location.

HORRIBLE service, you WILL WAIT a minimum of 30 minutes, for things as simple as a urine screen!!!! Have gone more than half a dozen times just for drug screening and have never waited less than that. Its never busy, either, so I dont know what the hold up is...... It seems like there are two people running the place!!! I am sitting here right now, have been here for one hour, am one of three people in the waiting room, NO ONE has been up in the front for 30 minutes. Cant say enough bad things, dont go find out for yourself.

Absolutely great service, the entire team from check in to the end of the visit were very friendly and knowledgeable. The time it took from registration til I saw a physician was within 10 minutes of our arrival and the advice and procedures recommended were appropriate and helpful in the remedy of my condition. I would suggest this facility to my family and friends in the event that Urgent Care is needed. Top Notch.

I went for my first checkup there, and they told me I should find my own doctor and that I shouldnt keep going there. 2 weeks later my daughter had the flu and went there and was told the same thing. So I ended up going to Minute Clinic at CVS and they treated us with no problems and treated us well. if you want to be treated in urgent care in lewis center ohio you have to get a lawyer,,

Pt care was poor. A prescription was called in before my husband ever received his diagnosis. He called the clinic after getting a message from the pharmacy and had to leave a message. Whomever returned his call was quite uncaring and had no definite answer. They are treating a "likely" diagnosis with antibiotics. Bad medicine.

I recently visited Americas urgent care on a Saturday afternoon. My son cut himself and required stitches. It was a smooth process. We were admitted quickly and the nurse and doctor stitched him up quickly. The entire team was friendly and attentive. I will visit this center whenever I need general medical attention.

Weve taken our children there twice and they referred us to different facilities both times. It doesnt seem like they can do very much there and dont have many resources to do much testing. The doctor and nurse were very friendly. I would recommend this location for simple urgent needs.
