I chose this place based on the reviews below. Its a beautiful facility. But it was, perhaps, the worse ER visit Ive ever had. Ive had more than my fair share of kidney stones. Id say in my 45+ years, probably upwards of 150. So Ive been to the ER a lot for them. Ive never been treated the way I was here. I left in tears and found a different ER where they treated me like a human. Ironically, they did the exact same tests and **DID** find a stone. Both places did a CT. Here, I was given minimal pain medication, waited HOURS only to have Dr. Bitter (no joke. thats her name. fits) basically call me a liar. They didnt see a stone. Well, Dr. Bitter, the OTHER emergency room radiologist DID!! Ill educate you. See, these things are tiny. When I told the doctor in the second ER about the first findings, she rolled her eyes and said that (and I knew already) CTs scan slices about 3mm apart. It is entirely possible for a 1-2mm stone to be in the middle of one of those slices. It didnt even occur to her that I was lying! The blood in my urine (and it wasnt microscopic, by the way. It was plainly visible to the naked eye), my high BP, and my freaking WORD were enough for them to give me medication that actually got the pain under control. And guess what? I PASSED THE "NON-EXISTENT" STONE YESTERDAY! Id suggest you all do a little more learning about stones, brush up on your radiology skills, and, most importantly, learn how to treat people. Not everyone who comes to you for HELP is seeking drugs for recreation. Sad state of affairs. Truly.

My wife was refered to this facility after we went to the OhioHealth Urgent Care - Lewis Center (24 Hidden Ravines Dr Powell, OH 43065) and they said they did not have the right sutures for the job. The work done by the Westerville Medical Campus was great, though the job was quick and easy--they took my wifes vitals (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) and asked about medical history. Then it took like 2 minutes for a medical assistant to glue the cut shut. THEN we got the bill. This is not an urgent care center. It is only billed as a Level I ER visit if you go there for something routine like having stitches removed. Our bill was outrageous given the care received. (The doctors service is billed separately, and the glue kit was $125). Crossing this centers threshold set up back $550 (for a ER Level 2 visit), out of our pocket, not negotiable. Not that I could tell you what the urgent care facility would have cost. One only finds out after services are rendered. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY UNLESS: 1) You are dying 2) You are rich and cost is no object 3) You have insurance that actually pays for medical care or are expecting to hit your out of pocket limits anyway. We have high deductable, high copay insurance. 4) You are poor and you dont expect to pay regardless of the cost. The service was good though!

So this morning I had a 9 am appointment. We left with extra time to get my husband to work by 8. We are down to one car because of his being totaled in an accident a couple weeks ago. By the time we made it on to the highway it was 8am and we sat for another 15 minutes. So being courteous I called them to explain and see if they would prefer I reschedule given the situation. Keep in mind my appointment was not for 45 minutes. She gave me a ton of attitude and said that they blocked a whole hour for me and I was being rude and that since I couldnt make it to my appointment 45 minutes from now I was not welcome as a patient. Mind you the traffic was due to 2 major fender benders which werent my fault and wed left with an extra 20 minutes to spare. This did not help as I was already stressed due to my 5 month old being sick and facing surgery in a month.

RUDE!!!!! Took my mother in for severe abdominal pain, 2 nurses at the front desk watched us pull in, park and walk in with my mother doubled over in pain and in tears. I know they watched us pull in and park due to one of the nurses commenting on my parking job, I told her I didnt think that was an issue we needed to discuss right now. The other nurse looks at my mother and says "do you need to see a dr?" NO, we just like visiting these types of places. Neither of them offered assistance in to the building. After we were checked in they had us walk to the the room, again shes doubled over in pain and in tears. The nurse takes off down the hallway and says follow me. Down the hall she goes at warp speed leaving my mother behind with no offer of a wheelchair or assistance. Very rude and unprofessional.

Ive gone here for mammograms for several years. They do a fabulous job. The check in is fast. The section is clean, calm and professional. The people who work here are so kind and so nice...from the person who greets you, the billing people, and the ladies who work in the mammogram section. I would recommend this place to anyone, really, for any procedure. I dont believe its an ER or Urgent Care..but is for diagnostic purposes. And as always, before you have a procedure done, call and discuss the potential costs. You should do that anywhere you go anyway because prices vary from place to place. And yes...most of these places are FOR PROFITS. Theyre businesses, not charities.

Went there for emergency and receive only diagnostic, they were not able to cure the condition, only offered to give a pain killers. And, guess what? They charged $2,750 for diagnostic only (blood test and ultrasound). 10 minutes of regular ultrasound costs $1,217. We went there because we thought that they are not full-scale hospital and can be not as expensive as hospital, but it turned out the opposite. They have very limited capability, but charge you more that regular hospital. Keep away from this place. They only care about money.

Wonderful campus, great staff, wonderful services! I have never had a bad experience at this site, regardless of why I was there. Ive had a mammogram, x-rays, aquatic physical therapy and numerous blood draws. Everyone is super friendly, professional, and they never keep you waiting longer than absolutely necessary!
