I am thoroughly disgusted with my visit. The incompetence of my "doctor" left me speechless. The check-in and nurse staff were extremely pleasant and seemed to care a great deal. I do not expect to be treated as if Im a guest at a hotel. However, a certain amount of, at the very least, awareness should be required when you are a physician. She was a joke. I was treated to a very expensive 7 hour visit for naught. Since I left in a worse state than when I arvived, I will not return. I will not bring my family and I will certainly tell as many people as I can about the competency of the doctor. Not the kind of person I want taking care of my loved ones or myself. Even the most basic reading skills could have saved her from embarrassing herselfand the hospital. Why do I list my background, allergies, and meds when I come in if they arent even going to be read? Thats how people die. That, and sending them home in exactly the same or worse condition as when they arrived; in addition to actually getting worse right before leaving and still being discharged with the reason being that they dont know whats wrong. Even my discharge information was incorrect. The area scanned was incorrect for the suspected problem and the discharge information was for abdominal pain which wasnt even why I came in. I can not comprehend this situation. In 7 hours I had regular labs and a CT scan. "I dont know whatswrong. You need to contact your regular doctor." is an unacceptable answer after spending that amount of time at the hospital. Not only unacceptable but astounding. The regular doctor told me to come here. So at what point does somebody honor their career choice and actually do the job instead of pushing cattle through the trough. I was dismissed, Im assuming, because it was not desirable to spend the time and effort to find the problem on a busy Monday night. Mission will brag they are the best and they are specially equipped for things other hospitals arent. What good are bragging rights if they arent implemented? If you have a cold and can wait 6 or 7 hours for an antibiotic, then Mission is the place to go. If there is something wrong that may require skill, effort, and intelligence, then I suggest Park Ridge.

I was scheduled for tumor removal this passed week, was told that i would have to be in recovery for 3-7 days. I told the pre-op team where not to put my iv in my fore arm because my veins would blow, they waited til after i was under anesthesia to put the ivs in to my arm. I woke up with swollen and bruised arms. I was moved into my recovery room a few hours after surgery, the next day they changed my gown where they busted my stitch in my abdomen that was continuously bleeding. I had blood on my sheets that they never changed, they were suppose to help me get up to walk and go to the bathroom after they removed my catheter, they did not. I would call for the nurse to help and they would show up tell me that they would tell another nurse and know one would ever come. I thank God that my husband was there to help because this nursing staff was no help at all. They were scheduled times when they were suppose to give me pain medication and my husband had to go to the nurses station numerous times after waiting for more than an hour past the times when the medication was suppose to be given. I spent 2 nights in the hospital only, they didnt seem to have any organization at all. The staff was not attentive at all. When i was discharged they gave me an inhaler, I got no paper work or instructions for an inhaler. They simply told me it was in my packet so it must be for me. I have never had such a terrible experience at a hospital, I felt violated, neglected and thoroughly mistreated. Think twice before you decide to get care at this hospital because they took terrible care of me.

On 4/5/16 at approximately 4:30 am, my daughter and two of her friends where just out cruising around (yes it was late but they were just out joy riding). There were no drinking or drugs involved. They stopped at a red flashing light and looked both ways and there was no one coming in the direction towards them. They pulled out a bit and out of the blue came a truck and it t-boned them. They were taken to Angel Medical Center where they were judged laughed at and talked about behind their backs (we are talking about a black girl, country girl and a transgender). My daughter had a whole in her head that they left opened and did not even want to clean it, my daughter has also had 2 major back surgeries and they did not even check her back. A parent of one of the other girls got there and made them clean it. They (staff of the hospital) sent them home. We took them to Haywood Regional Hospital where they were all taken care of, they all got xrays and my daughter had to get 5 stitches in her head and was even given antibiotics. They could not believe that Angel Hospital would let them go. I am very disappointed in the staff and care of the staff of this hospital. Everybody is equal and should be treated as such. To the staff of Angel that was supposed to be there to help people, but could not get past their own ignorance. GOD BLESS YOU!!!!!!
