I never saw an actual doctor, only two rude LNs, I repeat- LNs- folks with this license are the in no position to assess symptoms, but usually take care of bathing people, wheeling them to and from testing areas and their rooms, changing bedpans, etc, all VERY important and noble jobs, i understand and value the long list of duties all the different types of licenses nurses are charged with being responsible for. These two females seem however to be getting getting paid to judge you, dissmiss you, and live "hanging out together while using you to be passive-aggressive in every way for one anothers entertainment. They saw where I had my 40th birthday a couple weeks before, and they actually said things to me like, " thats probably why I feel like I needed to come there today, having to deal with being so officially old (!!)- both putting disgusted looks on their faces revealing to me how THEY really felt about a 40 year old woman, as if it wont happen to them. So, they assumed i was just being way too over dramatic about the noticeable lump Id found that came with worrisome and painful side effects. I wanted help, I needed a doctor, i spent 5 hours over there and go neither.

Have been to Lake City Medical Center Emergency Room 3 times in last month. Can not say enough good things about this hospital. Dr. Hill is AMAZING!!! The entire staff is so attentive. The ambulance service that took my loved ones - that is a different story. I live in Fort White and Century is the ambulance service we are stuck with. They tried to talk my mom who was bleeding rectally that is on blood thinners out of going to the hospital. They also tried to talk my husband who was dehydrated severally out of going as well. It was the same team of man and woman who did this. I put in a complaint. Unbelievable!!! The hospital was furious! LCMC is AWESOME!!!! Thank you!! Dr. Farrell however is not a doctor you want working on you at this hospital. If he is working on you ask for a different one. Everyone else is FANTASTIC!!

If you value your health, dont go here!!! Went here today because my husband dislocated his shoulder and got there like 1030am. First of all the nurses couldnt get an iv in him and then the doctor came in to try and pop his shoulder back in twice before giving sedation meds. Then after that they tried again under sedation and said they couldnt help him there. What the Hell is the use of a hospital where u cant even get a shoulder popped back in....good thing he didnt cut off his arm. So they transferred him to North Regional in Gainesville around like 330. So 5 hours wasted not to mention travel time of 45 min to Gainesville. I have to hand it to the staff at North Regional, they were busy as Hell and we were there only 4 hours. And one try and his shoulder was back in. Go there instead!!!!

Two cases Same scenario one refused. My son who is 22 was seen in your ER last Tuesday for a toothache. we both just moved here, we both have no insurance. I have a history of Mirgraines withe last one being 8 months ago that sent me to a hospital, a history of low blood pressure which had me in icu almost killed me in December 2013, blood clot history and I am a 3 times breast cancer survivor, i go into the ER for a severe migraine last night that did not relinguish until around 2am i might add but was refused treatment unless i pay $100 up front. are you serious what a shame. my son didnt have to pay anything up front. was it because i am white and he looks hispanic? very curious here i had no drug history or criminal background and was denied service

I went in last night around 3am, very short wait time, fantastic techs and RNs. Jeanie is amazing. The reason for this two star review however is that the doctor had a TERRIBLE bedside manner! Dr. Farrell was just god awful! I was answering a question and explaining it a bit further and he put his fingers to his lips and shushed me like I was a child and told me I was talking too much! He hadnt even begun the procedure which if he had would have been at least not such a slap in the face. If I hadnt been in utter agony I would have asked for a different doctor right then and there. Very disappointed in him, maybe hire doctors that are as fantastic as the rest of the staff.

I took my 90 year old Father for a breathing problem on May 1 2016. I cant say enough about the concern, reactivity of the emergency staff, speed of testing with diagnosis and medication. A world of difference from my last visit in May 2013. Then the staff stood around talking, one dr on staff sitting at the computer for 90% of the visit. Tests were at a snails pace. And the visit was life threatening. A friend recently went there and was diagnosed with meningitis. She is the reason I took my Dad there instead of going to Gainesville. She had high praise for the emergency room Great job and thank you

What a joke, the lady behind the desk is rude, the woman doing the consultations is of of her office roaming the halls instead of keeping up , waited for over an hour just for her to take a copy of our license, husband is having a hard time breathing and tight chest and still we have been waiting for almost 3 hours. Not acceptable in my eyes. Not to mention the toddler next to us who cant hardly breather for coughing and choking and has been waiting just as long. They havent even checked on the little ones O2 stats! Go somewhere else if you actually have a medical problem......

came in due to chest pain and shortness of breathe they hooked me up with all the stickers on my chest, pulse monitor, blood pressure cuff on me and iv and none of them hooked up to no monitors...how is this suppose to help? who knows then doc comes in and says nothing is wrong but take Tylenol n starts rambling about a subject other than what I am here for! bathroom was filthy, nurse left a mess in the room with the iv stuff n even after they take the iv out they jus left sitting on the bed. never again will I come here for an emergency

I went in there with swollen legs and I was in so much pain.They sent me to the lab and did blood work and then I had an ultrasound done on my legs.Remind you this is all done through the emergency room.Finally they tell me I have DVT and that it will go away on its on.And that my lymph nodes are infected.No medicine of any kind.My legs are getting worse.This swelling of my legs and pain has been going on for over a year now.I got really bad service.Piss poor hospital

I had a total knee replacement and being an RN, I can say I was impressed. (I have a fear of surgery, and they did a wonderful job!) The only issue was I waited 8 hours for the Physical Therapist to give me an okay for discharge-they couldnt find him, so after 6 pm (I was supposed to be discharged at noon!) I finally left anyway. I need another joint replace and will return to this hospital for that. Thank you to the staff.
