For the staff and services 5 stars. For billing 1 star and never pay in cash. I have been a patient for over 20 years and the last three times I visited I paid in cash. I am a Pinellas County Schools Teacher and I do not use a credit card unless it is an emergency. I cannot teach my students not to, if I do. My husband passed away and I am busy working full time and on my PHD so when they rebilled me the first and even the second times, I thought not much of it as it was only the co-payment due so I paid it thinking I must have mistakenly maybe not left cash. The 3rd time I paid I had to ASK for a receipt which I received. Guess what? Yes, they billed me for the co-payment again... I called and spoke to the business manager, told her how long I was a patient and what had previously happened prior to the last appt, then that I had asked for a receipt this time. She seemed odd about the entire thing and just went ahead and credited my account...without even seeing the receipt...? I recently made an appt for my daughter to go in and since she was a new patient paid over $250 for the appt. They took that credit card payment over the phone. When she had to cancel well in advance to the scheduled time (2 weeks in advance) my credit card still had not been credited the amount. It took a few months of calling to receive the credit back. Staff and service in the office excellent, keep an eye on your payments and credits.

Everyone at Oakhurst Medical Clinic is very professional and easy to deal with. Appointment times are generally completed on time more than Ive experienced that other medical facilities. The people here seem to really care about their patients.
