I went to this ER about 8:30 PM after I had something in my eye that I couldnt get out. It was very painful and my Eye was watering profusely. The guard in the lobby was less than friendly. The ER staff was helpful they did determine that I had scratched my cornea and provided me with three prescriptions. After looking at the prescriptions through my watering eyes I realize they gave me a prescription I was allergic to. After leaving the ER at 11 PM I realize there were no pharmacies open. I called the ER back and asked if they could fill any of the prescriptions since there were no pharmacies open and they told me to go to an all-night pharmacy 6 miles away. I explain to them I barely drove across the street as my Eyes was still watering profusely I could not see out of it. they could not help me. It is beyond my comprehension that anyplace presuming to be an ER does not have basic prescription painkiller Or antibacterial eyedrops. I would not go here again.

After 7 hours of waiting and excuses for me, and unnecessary morphine for my 85 year old grandfather, 3 doctors could not simply pop my grandfathers arm back into its socket. I brought my grandfather to Morton Plant in downtown Clearwater and 1 doctor put his arm right back into the socket 1st try. This ridiculous incompetence at largo medical caused severe bruising& muscle pain. Going to this walk in ER just resulted in my grandfather being more injured and severe pain for over a week. Also, they kept him nodding out and loopy on morphine for 7 hours while his initial pain rating was 3/10. When he left this facility his pain was at 15/10. Dont go to this fancy looking walk in. Go downtown to the actual hospital. Will never go to a Largo Medical Center again.

Worst Ripoff...I will never go here again even if i was dying in the street. I went in for a sinus infection and they charged me 250 dollars. I thought that was really high for taking my blood pressure and giving me an aspirin. So nothing was accomplished. I begrudgingly paid this and moved on. I was told that was all i would be charged. A few weeks later i get a statement for 1200 dollars and they said i owed an additional 130. After getting no where i again paid it. But then i get another bill for 121 dollars saying it was for this same visit. I told them i had already paid it. They said i had not and sent it to to collections. This affected my credit score. I am so mad.

I visited this ER as paitent last year (08/15) The staff here was fantastic. They are very friendly and caring. My doctor was Dr Roy he was excellent, handled my visit with a combination of very evident skill/knowledge, professionalism and great sense of humor. What more could a patient ask from a Doctor. I do feel bad because I dont remember the nurses name, she was a blond and beautiful women with the same clear cut dedication and skill in her job as the doctor and the rest of the staff. Hopefully I never have to go back to the ER, but if I am unfortunate enough to need emergency medical care, I want these guys at my bedside!

My grandmother was feeling weak and could barely lift her arms. We brought her in to this er and the nurse Margaret was incredibly rude and curt to us. Did not believe that she was in pain and needed any assistance. My grandmother could not lift her arms or sit up and the nurses mocked her. The doctor came in and stated she had sore muscles and told us to take her home after 4 hours. We took her home and she only got worse. We ended up having an ambulance called and taken to Morton plant hospital and was admitted for 3 nights with a serious infection. I would not take any person to this er. Go elsewhere.

Very unprofessional. Jeff / Sarah were Nurses today & Dr. Kinteer was our doctor. Sarah would not look at my employees finger which was partially cut off. Definitely in the wrong field. Jeff was good. Dr. Kinteer wanted him to wash off his finger himself. She finally cleaned it. Hell I was ready to clean it myself. No surgeon on staff! 3 1/2 hours later and still no answers. Trying to find surgeon at local hospital Jeff came in to inform us they found a Dr. At Morton Plant. Thank you, Jeff. You were awesome. Nothing against you Jeff. Never going here again!

I cant thank the staff enough for the excellence care and bedside manners especially my nurse juile and dr.williams they went above their duties to treat me with the up most respect and listening to all my concerns and answer them They didnt treat me like a normal patient they treated me as person. They didnt judge me cauae of my high tolance to meds. I say that why cause i got injuryed in Iraq and have over 127 surgeries. I wish that every er can mentor the staff here. We dont get this type of excellent treatment where Im from in North Carolina.

Just moved back here to Pinellas and this place is great. Im a huge fan of Morton plant but its further and this ER is just as great with no wait time and much closer to me. Never people waiting the 3 times i have taken the kids and the staff is very thorough and wonderful! They even got my son a slushie and juice to make him more comfy when we went just last week. What i liked the most is they dont rush in and out of the room and actually talk to you about whats going on not just dump a prescription on you and push you out the door.

This was the absolute worst experience in any medical providers facility. The staff was not professional whatsoever, two nurses made jokes about me right in front of me. The registration girl Sierra came in and had me sign and initial some papers then told me it was a $500 copay, she was very rude as well. Then to top it all off when I got home and looked at discharge papers I got someone elses medical info wow, really? Get it together largo medical center!

Had to go to the ER. Not being from this area, I was very nervous because the reviews online for other hospitals were terrible. Largo Medical Center was a little further but had the top rating so i decided to go there. I was not dissapointed. They took me in almost immediately and the staff was super friendly and took such good care of me. I am feeling a lot better and very thankful for the staff that took care of me. Thank you!!!!!!!

I went in yesterday about 1pm was weak and dizzy after visiting baycare urgent whom gave me steriods that raised my blood sugar i was so sick largo er did a great job taking care of me i feel much better today staff was professional and quick only complain my nurse button on the caller didnt work had to call them from my cell when i had to use the restroom glad i had a phone and with internet to google there number

Ive been here twice, once when my 3 month old scratched his eye and again last Friday when my daughter broke her arm Bad. They were very helpful, concerned, and knowledgeable. There was only 1 person who wasnt very confident/knowledgeable and I think it was only because he was young and possibly had never seen that bad of an injury? Even so, I give this ER 5 stars!
