Everyone who was wonderful was completely undone by a horror-show of a nurse. Ive never, in my whole life, met anyone less suited to her job than "Deb." There were so many moments of complete meanness that it became clear this wasnt an off-day. This is how she treats people. And its not okay. First, she made a snotty comment about people with kidney stones bringing it on themselves by not drinking enough water. That may be true, in general. I, however, drink at least a gallon a day. And it was unsettling to have the person charged with my care putting me on the defense right away. Blame the patient. Sweet. I warned her that its always really hard to put IVs in me. It always has been. There are usually multiple attempts. I expect that and tend to have a pretty good attitude. I get that its not easy. She didnt get the first one. My reaction? Stupid. I apologized. And she snickered and said, "Well it certainly wasnt MY fault!" Really? Blame the patient again. Wow. The doctor ordered pain medication for me. She refused to give it to me because I didnt have someone with me right then and there. She said, "Just let me know when someone gets here." I said, "I dont have anyone available right now. Thats why I took Uber to get here." And she sighed and said, again, "Let me know when theyre here." To which I repeated my answer. We went through this four times until I finally said, "They are not in town. It will be hours. If you cant help me, then please remove the IV and Ill go." Then she grumbled something about the doctor risking his license because she wouldnt. She arrived in my room a few minutes later... with the medication. I said thanks. She said, "Dont thank me! I wouldnt be giving them to you. Im just following orders. I dont trust anyone." While I can see how truly bitter she is by the way she treats people, taking that out on patients is unfair. I understand there are people who will lie, accept narcotics, and drive away completely high. Thats not me. But, if there is a policy in place, fine. I would have left and gone somewhere else. Instead, shes being nasty and rude and making me feel absolutely horrible. Again. I came back from CT and tried to get her attention for nearly an hour. She couldnt be bothered. I finally asked someone else for help. When she came back in, she had another dose of medication. Again, I said thank you. And again, she said, "Its not me! I wouldnt give you anything! Im following the doctors orders!" Well, THANK GOD for that doctor! I left stunned, feeling somehow guilty for having gone for help at all and with MY trust left in shambles. I realize she is one nurse. And everyone else was amazing. But this woman needs to find something to do that doesnt require human interaction. Seriously. She made the entire experience a complete disaster. I was going to ask to speak to the head nurse, but frankly, I could just see it being her. And I just wanted to get the heck out of there. Thank you to the doctors, the other nurses, and the technicians for attempting to be kind enough to counterbalance her. Sadly, it didnt work. :(

I got to fairfield med about 6 or so I go into triage to go ever everything I get back there to the nurse did her thing. She told me a doctor was going to come in and see me. At that point and time I was already in a lot of pain, the nurse said a doctor would be in. 15 minutes later a doctor comes in I explain to him whats going on and I have a big knot where i where my pants and that it hurts exstreamly back that I couldnt even let my pants even rub it well Dr. Comes in and prosseds to push so hard on that area not knowing what is going on and puts me in tears. I have a high tolance for pain. He puts me in tears tells me he will be back 20 minutes later after that and after him doing that caused me to throw up 3 times and I havent done any of that. And then sitting in there a while longer some one else comes in and tells me to wait in the waiting area some one will come out there and put a iv in while I am sitting out in the dirty waiting room. Thats not even close to being sanitary conditions to do that but back to the situation I walked out I dont go to the hospital for them to cause me more pain and then send me out to the waiting room my face is blood red and I am sweating like no other because of all the more pain :) the triage Dr cause what kind of care is that for a hospital. I will never ever go there again. If I am having a heart attack or something I will drive myself to Columbus from Logan where I live before I will ever go there and as for any one else my suggestions is to go else where. U WILL GET BETTER CARE FROM SOME WHERE ELSE BESIDE FAIRFEILD. I walked out I would much weather die than go there and be caused more pain. I really hope the hospital changes things because that is not right and it wasnt even busy. That is what really baffles me. All that said I walked out I am not going to sit around there in more pain because of the doctor pushed so hard to put a grown man in tears. And then tell him to wait. NOT RIGHT AT ALL

Over all Im not very happy with my experience. I am not an idiot nor do I like being treated like one by a few of your doctors. I have been through 9 pulmonary embolism,9 Tia, 1 cva ,a mild mi, Epilepsy,ptsd,severe depression and have fought off a glioblastoma tumor on the stem of my brain twice now from spreading cancer. I am a disabled Army veteran and I believe we deserve to be treated like humans not idiots. I came in here for severe chest pain have been in here three days was told my heart was enlarged so instead of with all my medical history just doing a quick heart cath to see if anything is wrong Iim put in an observation room to be charged more money when all I want is the problem fix and if the heart cath doesnt show anything then time to start looking other places but this is ridiculous. To many of the people here think that just because they have degree they know everything when they do not know what is going on in another person body especially with one of my medical history. The nurses have been great and everything though . And dont give me contact this person or that person bullshit. Get off your ass and contact yourself sad when doctors started caring more about electronis than the patient doctor relationship that is suppose to be built.

That c s w Suez needs fried she works on the sixth floor in the physics ward she a trouble maker and lier and threatening and playing head games with the patients and their family and POA and etc and my niece probably involved too because she is a c s w so they probably exchanging information that is personally and etc maybe be they need investigate and lawsuit ed and;;;;;THIS PLACE IS A MESS.NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED BY THE STATE BECAUSE THIER IS SOME B.S AND ECT NONSENSE AND ECT GOING ON HERE ,YOU GUYS NEVER FIX MY DAUGHTERS ARM,THATS A LAWSUIT,YOU GOT DOCTORS THAT WORKS THIER ON VERY F...UP DRUGS AND THIER A FEW ON THE SIX FLOOR THEY NEED TO BE REPLACE,THEY UNETHICAL BEHAVIOR AND ECT IS YOUR PATIENT REP A MR ROBERT MORRIS IF SO HE NEEDS LAWSUIT ED ANd YOU PEOPLE LET IN A CHILD MOLESTERS IN THIER A FEW YEARS AGO AND MR MORRIS re REP DO NOT GET THIS MAN HE A EVIL SNAKE AND THEY VOLITIONING RIGHTS AND BODYS AND ECT AND THEY PLAYING A SICK GAME WITH MINDS AND
