Doctors or nurses have not a clue! I fell 6/1/17 and hit my head on a concrete wall. Couldnt drive home because I was delerious, confused and had no clue what was going on! I just wanted to sleep!! And that I did, until rescue was called the next day because I didnt wanta get up, was aggravated with my family because I wanted to just sleep! Rescue staff got me up on stretcher and otw to shands lake horror!!! The ambulance staff were awesome, I wish I could find out who they were? So as im being wheeled in to ambulance doors, yes there were nurses and a Doctor... Actually Doctor Cynthia Magrini MD. I hear the ambulance lady tell her Ive hit my head and im just wanting to sleep and aggaited because she kept me up the whole ride to hospital and asking me questions (which now I understand why she was doing this) so anyways, the Dr questioned the lady rescue EMT and I hear the EMT say, no, I looked at her nite stand and there was nothing inticatibg a possible drugoverdoses or if I was drunk! No u crazy a@@ Dr, I FELL and HIT MY HEAD, that was why my family called 911!!! So I hear the Dr Cynthia Magrini MD say out loud well thats what the lady said last nite and it was drugs. OMG! If there would have been anyway I could of gotten up from that stretcher, I would have deff caught a charge on her... Un freaking real! Well they discharge me because my sugar was low and the as I read the discharge papers that my mother kept from me utiil yesterday, it states polysubstance abuses REALLY??? Then was given a leaf lets on DRUG ABUSE!!?? Well Dr Cynthia Magrini, I had a freaking concussion and may have a blood vessel leaking bood on the brain! I found this out at North Fla Regional Medical Center! BTW-. Thank you God for that hospital...... Idk what samples of blood you tested, but it wasnt mine! Maybe if u had the patient put their own name on the values of blood their self, it might work out better for you! Or instead of 15 nurses n the room it might be a lil better handled! So, Cynthia Magrini, I pray that a vessel isnt leaking blood,? Maybe you should have kept me over nite for observation, maybe you should of done ALOT of things different? Since I fell and hit a concrete wall! My neck hurts, back aches, double vision, short term memory loss! Yeah ALOT of things different! By the way, Id love to know the lady that was in the night before? Since Cynthia announced it to everyone! Pray Dr Cynthia Magrini I have no leakage n the brain!! 1 more thing, I do know for a fact that there has been a mix up of blood and urine test!!! Because if that has happened to you please post on the reviews section...... Im sure Ill hear from whoever that will apologize and give u a # to call!! No time for that! Just fix ur hospital! And please pray for me as I am a grandmother to 3 lil boys! But a BIG shout out to NFRMC¡! And ty Dr Cynthia Magrini, I pray u dont treat everyone like this? U need to take touch up classes/or retirement?? Thanks for nothing Shands at Lake Shore!

My husband was in the ER 10/27/16 and we of course waited 1.5 hours in the waiting room, and when we FINALLY got to the back we were in the ambulance entrance and from where we were all we heard for an hour solid was the 2 doctors on duty gossiping. The male Dr was VERY unprofessional! He talked for 5 mins telling a nurse how "F******* Great" California was. Meanwhile the Nurse practitioner talked about her caring for people who she couldnt communicate with! After 30 more minutes my husband finally got up to ask where was the Dr. The male Dr. (Garret Trance) then came out to say he can leave because he wasnt going to see him. This hospital SUCKS! THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL DOCTORS I HAVE EVER MET! I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE CHANGE HERE BECAUSE WHILE PEOPLE COME IN FOR HELP THE MEDICAL STAFF GOSSIPS AND THEN CHECKS IN ON PATIENTS! I WOULD CHANCE DRIVING 30 MILES BEFORE I RETURN!!!!!

Hmm the outside surroundings of this hospital are filthy especially the Lake in front littered with trash every where dont know how the ducks survive. As for the hospital staff overall they seem nice however some of them are just flat out rude and the number one question they ask their patients is are you on drugs. when it comes to the rooms, beds, and inside of the hospital period its pretty dirty they even tried to have me lay on a bed that had hair all over it made them change the bedding and sanitize it before I would even touch it, which aggrivated the nurse but eww I dont want a disease from a place you go to to get better. There was filth all over the walls and floor seriously somebody couldnt clean the blood off the counters and wall. compared to the Lake City Medical Center I would choose this place over them any day but still get it together people.

It is hit or miss with this place. I was admitted for 3 days and was released with my arm swollen 3 times its normal size and that was not even what I was admitted for. 5 days later I was readmitted for a blood clot in my arm which was cause from the previous iv that I had. I spent 8 days in that time. My husband came up to see me and pushed the call button every 5 minutes to get a nurse to come and as soon as he pushed the button they turned it off at the desk. He finally had to raise hell to get any help.

Not the greatest but in a pinch i suppose they do the job they are tasked with but it is probably better to throw yourself in front of a moving truck and be brought in by ambulance if you want them to treat you politely and timely, please dont work with people if you area not a people person and you dont have decent bedside manner. The medical staff doesnt seem to listen to the patients only what they want to hear.

Lake shore regional hospital in lake city is absolutely the best hospital I have been to. The greatest Doctors, nurses and hospital staff in the world. When it comes to my family who treats them IS important. Im so happy I drove the distance needed to get here. It was worth it! I want to do a special shout out to Dr. Tyson and RN Tammie who literally helped me and my daughter recover. God bless

They let a family member sit and labor for hours on end and dont know how to do Ivs properly on an adult or baby and dont even give out the proper items for a sits bath. What a bunch of quacks. Taking 48 hours for an induction. They have no clue what they are doing!

Sitting here with my 4 year old daughter, waiting for the results from her urine that she did 2 hours ago. She cant eat but shes hungry and I cant do anything about it. This place is a joke and they keep you waiting for ever.

I was given a prescription for a medication and found out after taking it that Im allergic to it. Went back after paying $200 copay, they said I would have to check in and pay another copay $200 to $250.
