Sent husband over to find out what kind of problems he has healthwise and they have done nothing but park him in a room and ignore his needs. When they did try to give him 1 test they were hurting him and he asked them to stop and take him back to his room so they stopped and took him back to his room and when I asked about test results was told that it is all in head. If my husband ruptures something because they ignored him I am going to sue them BIGLY as Trumpet likes to say! My husband was frustrated and said to one of the nurses " dont you understand I hurt so bad and nobody is helping me get better so I feel like backing up and taking a leap out of that window...." so they stopped treating him and sent him over to the mental facility and he has not had any of his medications that he is supposed to have on a daily basis. HE IS GETTING WORSE NOT BETTER. They took his pillow that I brought from home immediately and he is also missing his shoes and a shirt. I get no answers about anything and Doctors are not calling me back. Husband calls me up and tells me that he fell last night and was bleeding. Nobody would come in to help get him up so he laid there until he could get up and get back in bed and nobody seemed to care when I called to tell them that husband fell last night and needs treated or cleaned and bandaged. When I noted it to nurse at visit, he said nothing.......worst hospital EVER.

Avoid this "for-profit" hospital at all costs. In fact, avoid any American hospital at all costs (go to urgent care if you can help it). They will attempt to squeeze every penny out of you that they can. I was bleeding and needed 4 stitches. A quick in-and-out visit to the ER for this simple procedure racked up a bill of just under $6,000! AFTER insurance, I still owed these greedy degenerates $530! FOR 4 STITCHES! If I went to urgent care completely uninsured I would have paid a couple hundred dollars less than that. How can these people sleep at night? What if I was poor?! Would they just expect me to go bankrupt over a small 4-stitch wound? How is this legal? I am truly disgusted by this place.

Went through the ER. After triage, they said I didnt need treatment. After leaving there I went to Morton Plant ER and had a pulse ox of 80. I had been in mold and was having breathing difficulty. I had insurance, I had cash, I was willing to pay and felt for my life, they didnt care. Dont waste your time. I reported this incident. I should have reported it to AHCA. At that time I was new to the area and didnt know how to report such an incident. Please, if you are turned away, call AHCA and make a report. They will investigate. The life you save could be for the next person in distress.

Doctors should do no harm, their attitude towards people in pain can cause them more harm. Many people in pain are not drug addicts and do not need to be treated as such as they have legitimate pain. Doctors should know the difference. This morning at ER my son was.not treated with respect. He was.up all night with neck/shoulder pain that got out of control. At this point he did not need a rude doctor. This has me very upset. My son did get treated but how do you think the doctors attitude made him feel? I guess some.doctors forget...DO NO HARM.

I have never had such terrible, degrating treatment in my life. The staff complety ignored me/ everyone. On purpose, they always had some more important to do other than handle the needs of the person asking for help. They refused to give me my medications. There was a disabled man there and they let him go 10 days without a bath. I will not stop at this email. Something has to be done about this. and if you speak up dor ypurself politely, they put in your chart that your aggressive. Terrible place ever!!!!!!

Ann marie was the only nurse who had any bedside manor. I was treated like a piece of garbage.there was one or two other nice nurses.I was evan checked out vaginaly by a male nurse who was a intern. Purr hell floor 3 people laughing at me I rather die then go back largo med irb. When I needed helpar my worst they laughed at me think abuot that when u choose largo welcome to hell mad irb..oh they thought I lying to make money og my ins ..go anywhere besides this hell hole

I arrived at 9:30 am. Quickly triaged, IV started, blood drawn, CT scan done quickly, examined thoroughly by Dr. Steele. Drs. Maxfield, Surgery and Dr. Fitzgerald all there efficiently to examine me and order appropriate tests and treatment. I dont understand the previous negative entries. I would not hesitate to go back there. The place was also immaculate! I was discharged in 2 days and am back to myself. Thank you Largo Med at Indian Rocks!

Disgusted with what is going on there right now. I flew halfway across the country to visit my Aunt. I only have 2 days to visit her and the day I get here they move her to another hall/unit where they can only have visitors from 6-7:30? Nobody knows whats going on. The staff wont answer any questions or even look you in the eye. I hope we get some answers tomorrow.

Most heartless, rude, and disrespecting ER doctor and staff on duty last evening at 11:00pm. If were not for the kindness of the nurse and the compassion of the security guard, I would have gone to jail. I have never been so angry in my entire life at the way I was treated while trying to see my daughter in the ER.

Dr Alison Howard is on of 3 Drs on staff. Personal, upfront and friendly. The best family Dr Ive ever had and Im 65. The wait is occasionally a bit long but good doctors take their time when patients need it. It is well worth the time. Staff is generally very friendly, helpful and kind.

I was admitted into the retreat, for psychiatric care. I have been there 3 times and everyone was always supportive and caring. I cant imagine having to work with people who may be unstable, so I have a lot of respect for those who do what they do at Largo Med Retreat.

Horrible!! They man handled my mom and were rude and condescending. The registration lady Lisa and the x ray tech were very friendly. The charge nurse was very rough and had no patience. I recommend the campus off of west bay they are very friendly and gentle.
