My review only goes as far as the front desk person. Ill just share my experience because I cant do this womans incompetence justice any other way. Walked in and all that could be heard was discussion of some cute clothes in a magazine. There was no greeting or direction as far as what steps should be taken to possibly get some medical attention. After I interrupted the fashion talk going on behind the desk I was told to sign in on a tablet then immediately called back to the exact same spot I was before. Clearly upset she had to put down the magazine to work, the woman behind the desk asked me my name -its a tough one so I spell it She asks my birthday - give her the info She repeats my birthday back with the wrong year - I correct her She asks why Im there - having some issues with my tonsils/throat She asks if I have EVER been there before - yes I have She wants to make it clear that its over a two hour wait to be seen - I nod my head in understanding Asks for my name again -I spell it again Asks for my social security number - I give it She accuses me of telling her I was just in there and that I was lying. - I stand there waiting for her to ask a question Apparently me being in there four years ago under my maiden name is a concept she is having trouble understanding. She feverishly types on the computer then asks for my maiden name - I spell it for her She asks for my married name - I spell it for her She spells it back to me wrong - I spell it again slowly She spells it back wrong - I spell it again She spells it back to me incorrectly - I spell it again She asks for my drivers license so she "doesnt get any information wrong" - I give her my drivers license She then proceeds to tell me she STILL CANT SPELL MY NAME RIGHT AS SHE IS STARING AT MY IDENTIFICATION. She asks me to spell my name AGAIN - I ask for my license back and walk out. Bottom line, incompetence in the front means incompetence in the back. Find a better quality medical facility to go to.

Hi, This place isnt a hospital! If you have PPO insurance and need to go to the doctors on a weekend go to the hospital!!!! I called them back and forth and talked to the lady from billing by the name of Tammy. She told me that the urgent care bill will be billed as an office visit. After finding out my insurance will cover office visits thru Henry Ford Health Systems, I made an appointment. About 20 days later I received a bill from HFHS in the amount of $104.45 for services that my insurance doesnt cover. My insurance did cover 2/3 of the bill, but these costs shouldnt of been inflated above standard office visit cost. I believe they get you into the door saying your insurance will be valid for office visits and they stick you with a huge bill that should of been covered. Please dont go here if you have PPO insurance just go to the hospital. You will only get a $100 bill and you will not receive sub par care.

I was a Target pharmacy participant for the longest time, but I want you to know that I have switched all of my prescriptions over to Henry Ford Pharmacy in Chesterfield. Why, you ask, well I will tell you why. They are professional, always courteous and pleasant even when swamped with patients. I found that Target began raising their prices, becoming more of a huge machine with patients and uncaring for the most part. The people that work at Henry Ford go out of their way to make a customer feel wonderful and welcome and their prices are fair and reasonable! It is a pleasure to go there and believe me, I have a lot of medications that have to be refilled. I live on a fixed income and feel this is the best place there is for me to be treated kindly and professionally. They are my Pharmacy and I am glad that they are.

Ive been here twice recently so this review isnt off one bad visit. The staff were friendly, and the wait times are accurate enough. Both times I was there I waited just over an hour and was seen, so it wasnt the absolute worst. The first time I went I had pneumonia. They didnt detect it, and sent me home without anything. I learned it was pneumonia from the ER a couple days later, and the wait was actually shorter there AND they gave me a prescription. The second time was for Pharyngitis, and again, they didnt detect anything and sent me home empty handed. You know you did detect something and gave me meds for it? The ER. This place is a waste of time and Im never going back. Youd have better luck closing your eyes and grabbing something off a shelf at CVS if you want help.

2/29/16. Walked in with a sick daughter at 4:00pm and at least was warned that there was about a 4 hour wait. Was told to fill out a form and Id get a text when we were to come back. Got several notices saying they were running behind. Finally got the text at 9:00 saying to come in. Doctor walked in at 9:37pm and we left at 10:15 with a scrip. That we cant get filled until morning now... smh Now I realize its a clinic, and patient load is unpredictable. But I walked into McClaren last year with appendicitis at 1:00pm on a Sunday, and woke up in recovery at 6:00pm. You do the math. Do better Henry Ford.

do not expect to be treated in a manner resembling anything similar to urgent. I was there for two hours for an excruciating sore throat, they put down that I was there for a cough. they said I have strep, strep test came back negative, and I was still sent on my way. two hours and I dont even have an answer as to why I am in so much pain that it is making me shake. I went there for convenience- its located two minutes from where I live. what a joke. there was nothing convenient about that excursion. they even messed up the prescriptions sent to the pharmacy, so I had to wait longer there too.

Broke wrist on Friday evening, went to urgent care and after X-ray was told it was broken. Doctor said they would put temporary splint on and I should see a doctor on Monday. He said I would not be able to find a doctor over the weekend to have it casted. Family took me to hospital where it was reset and put in a cast. Follow up visit on Tuesday, said it was too damaged and needed surgery. Do not feel the doctor was very competent and the nurses knew more than he did. Will not go there again.

Theyre outrageously sexist, agest, rude, poor quality of care, and lacking highly in communication skills! My son needed an x ray done the numb skull nurse said i cant take my own child cause im too young?! Im in my 20s? Im the main care taker of the kids the father does not do well in any stressful environment and panics n didnt even want to be here. But ya know. They know more than i do... Had too many bad experiences here i dont care if my arm is chopped off i refuse to come back again!
