No one wants to go to the doctor, let alone a skin cancer specialist. However, unfortunately, I did. Dr. Skinner and his staff were truly terrific. When I called for the appointment, I was given very detailed instructions on what was to be expected. The office then emailed me all of my forms up front so that I could have them prepared prior to my visit. Upon arriving at my appointment, I was greeted by a very bubbly girl at the front desk. She took my information and quickly processed the necessary business transactions, efficiently and courteously. I didnt wait too long before Dr. Skinner was able to see me. He quickly assessed my areas of concern, biopsied the areas and explained in full detail what his professional opinion was before sending the tissue to the lab. His bedside manner was one of patience, concern, and positivity. He answered all of my questions thoroughly in lay-mans terms so I understood completely before I felt that no other information was needed and I felt comfortable. The lab quickly processed my biopsied areas and quickly gave me the results that I was so eager to hear - no cancer! Dr. Skinner and the staff were great and I highly recommend them for those unfortunate people who inevitably have to see a skin cancer doctor.

When I was diagnosed with Melanoma it was very frightening and I was not really sure what to do. I met with Dr. Skinner who spent quite a bit of time going over my options, procedures and what might be the best remedy under my circumstances. The Mohs procedure appeared to be the best course to pursue with hopefully the best results.. Right at the beginning Dr. Skinner explained the process and what to expect. I wish I could say the last 7 weeks were easy, they werent, but Dr. Skinner and his staff were there and they helped me get through the tough times. Dr. Skinner and his staff earned the (5) Star Rating as far as I am concerned and highly recommend Dr. Skinner and his staff.
