Not trustworthy. Charges for treatment that he didnt actually do. Had a growth that needed removal and he used a needle to put "medicine" in the area. There was no medicine injected into the site in question. Didnt even answer my questions as to what kind of medication was being used, how it worked, or efficiency of the treatment. There was literally no change and I was easily out a few hundred dollars. Tried 1 more time to give him the benefit of the doubt. Same result! Or rather non-result! And he wanted me to come back a THIRD time for the exact same treatment. Finally decided to go to a different doctor in Ogden and he was able to do the job in 1 go. Do NOT go to this doctor if you value your health. He prolongs treatment to get the most money out of you.

Dr Checketts is an incredible dermatologist! I asked on facebook who my friends recommend for a dermatologist and about half of them said Dr Checketts. I went to him (long wait to get it because hes so good and popular) but worth it! He took my warts away that no other dermatologist could touch. He also has the best bedside manner ever! Hes very honest and educates his patients. Since I have been to him my entire family goes to him and multiple friends. I Travel from Holladay to Layton to see him because hes that good! I recommend him to anyone!

He treated me over a year ago for scalp psoriasis. He injected me numerous times with something at the back of my head. He said it would clear up within a week and last for approximately six months. It lasted for several months beyond that. Im going to return to him for another treatment. Other dermatologists in the past could not clear up my condition. Dr. Checketts knows his school of medicine, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

Great doc. Ive been seeing him for years and taking all my kids to him. He gets it done and has been more than fair with us, even seeing one of kids when they didnt have an appointment while we were in for others. Never had an issue with him not telling me the whole story or trying to cheat me in any way.
