What is this world coming to

Thought my daughter was having an appendicitis while on vacation so we took her here. When we brought her, two ambulances had just arrived along with 3 people ahead of us; they later said 15 people just rolled in ahead of us. We saw the Dr. in less than 20 minutes even thought they were full. The Dr. was great and quick; he also broke down her illness to a level I could understand quickly. Got to say, I was shocked by how advanced they are for being so small in the middle of nowhere. Robotic advanced Xray that doesnt need film so the images are done quicker, pharmacy built in the hospital which sends you a text when your medication is ready, and free Coffee. I have to say I was very surprised. I thought we were going to have a bad experience because of the size and location of the hospital, but we were off with a diagnosis and meds in 2 hrs!!

They gave me the very best of care and everyone was so very kind. They explained everything in a way I could understand, even though I was in such physical and mental pain and they made sure I understood what they were saying. I can not simply can not say enough good things about the whole situation. I wish I could put into more words how impressed I was/am with that whole awful circumstances I was in. I want to thank each and everyone of them for the excellent care I received. Bless you all. Thank you so very much. I am doing much better today, just to let you all know. Feel very good about yourselves and give each other a hug and/or a pat on the back. You deserve it!

Never Mind

Chronic migraines are unimaginable and so I ended up visiting the ER. The guy I saw (I believe he was a PA), was an absolute jerk! Dont ask the patient what works for them and then pretty much call them a drug addict! I think I know what works for me, after having migraines for a over a decade! If I had been a patient visiting every day or very frequently, then thats understandable, but how dare you treat me like that! I left feeling miserable, crying, and still had my migraine! I refuse to let anyone treat me that way! Thanks for nothing!

We are RVers traveling through the state. We were staying at a campground near Port Clinton when my husband began having some serious problems and had to be rushed to the ER. I am a retired RN so I tend to look at things from a different perspective. I cannot say enough good things about the care my husband received. He was assessed quickly, treated, and transferred to a hospital able to handle his needs in a timely manner. Everyone-the admissions clerk, his nurse, and the physician- were professional, caring, and compassionate. Thank you!

My family and I are vacationing near marblehead. My daughter woke up extremely sick in the middle of the night vomiting and a fever. We took her to the emergency room and the doctor on call was amazing! Very kind nursing staff and everyone was there to help and make sure we had a great experience. The doctor contacted an additional specialist to follow up on my daughters sickness. This was an amazing experience and we were well taken care of!

I went to the er for an allergic reaction, when I was brought back the nurse was cussing every other word that she said. After we got to the room she didnt know how to do anything or use any of the systems. She eventually got the Dr in and he kept asking the same exact question over and over again, after about 15 minutes of that I just left. Worst hospital I have ever been to. I do not recommend going there for any reason

Worst hospital Ive ever been to! I had to fight them tooth and nail for pain meds for my kidney stones when I was there. Bed side manner of half of the staff is terrible. My wife had to wait all day for a doctor to show up and be released from their God aweful hospital. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra 15 minutes to Firelands in Fremont.

My husband went there tonight and he had something that looked like a boil on top of his thumb.. They didnt do anything they was really short didnt explain nothing to us wanted us to be transported to Toledo for surgery on his thumb didnt give him nothing for pain worst hospital I have ever been to I wouldnt go there if I was dying

So I have surgery and they put me on 5 to 7 days bed rest and give me 3 days of medication, so i had to go to my doctor, in pain to get more... The only way I would go back is if i was dieing, and even then I would be reluctant!
