We recently had a family member admitted through the ER to 6th floor. I was reluctant when we arrived because I had been poorly served prior to this visit, but when we left the ER Dept. and headed to 6th floor, my whole attitude had changed. Our family member was promptly attended to. The physician assistant, head nurse, and doctor carefully listened to our medical complaints and promptly addressed them. The patient was promptly attended to by the nursing staff, and all the questions of the family were answered. Our family member entered the ER in excruciating pain, and soon she was comfortable and no longer suffering. My entire attitude about KCH has changed . . . it is the best treatment ever! I wish I could remember all the names to thank everyone personally, but the date was January 30, 2014, and everyone on duty in the ER should be complimented, as should the doctor and staff on 6th floor. Thank you . . .and this comes from my heart!!!!!

Failed on all levels of my care I went in Feb 8 at 2:30am to the emergency room for abdominal pain on my right side they did an urine test and CT and no other test they found nothing told me it was the stomach bug and gas the doctor and nurse looked at me like I was annoying and lieing and about the amount of pain I was in prob assusing I was in just wanting drugs for a fake stomach ailment I felt like I was dumb Thursday February 9the I was still in pain I when to mount Carmel st. Anns hospital to the emergency room urine test and blood test my blood test revealed that my white blood cells count was high they did several test revealing I had appendicitis I went into surgery and as they opened me up the had removed an ovarian cyst and my appendix and infarcation omental was twisted and parts of it was dead this was the cause for my pain kch faild me in my care not very pleased by the emergency department terrible

March 15, 2016 Mr. Bruce White: My name is William Prusak, I was a patient at KCH February 25 under the care of Dr. Michael Heuman. I was diagnosed with a severe condition of advanced Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. I had several office visits with Dr. Heuman to further evaluate my condition over several weeks in July and August last year. The tests did indeed confirm my condition and surgery was the only solution since my condition was severe. Dr. Heuman was confident he could repair the hernia and repair the damage with Laparoscopic Fundoplication. Surgery was scheduled on February 25. The moment I entered KCH I felt safe and comfortable. I received excellent care during my stay. I am writing to you to commend you and your staff for outstanding care. Post surgery private room on 6th floor was greatly appreciated! Please extend my deepest thanks to everyone that cared for me.

I was told beginning of June I went to urgent care told I had a stomach bug than after I was told I have uti and got prescription pills for my uti and also was told my gallbladder could be it. Than after Saturday I had my stomach was burning Than I was told I didnt have an uti and I have umbilical cord hernia than I told them I got pregnancy symptoms and than they told me it was my nexplanon birth control. Than I had it removed at July 5 or 6. Than I still got the pregnancy symptoms still see negative tests. Than I told my stomach still hurts than they Sheluced me an ultrasound July 31st finally came got my ultrasound done and did a scan work to take pics of my stomach. Than I got my results today they said everything came back negative

The care and compassion I was shown while was in the hospital in ICU,was amazing. I do want you to know, you have one nurse that went way beyond for me. Her name was Monica. she is a treasure . there were so many,so kind, so sincere nurses and care providers. On ICU and ICU stepdown. I was in the ER last night and the dr I had was rude! I went in there trying to find out something about my mouth and he was rude to not only me but my boyfriend. When the words of " What do you want me to do about it" came out of his mouth upset me. Never looked at my mouth like he should have and he gave the impression of that I was wasting his time. Worst bedside manners ever!

The er visit was the worst. People are waiting up to five hours. I arrived and checked in at 1:41 and got out at 8:30. To me that is unacceptable for any er. I give NO STARS
