Ive purchase 4 pairs of glasses over the last 6 yrs. some years Ive just had them switch out the lenses for updated prescription . Single vision lenses with no coating. Every single pair developed tiny spiderweb like cracks in the standard coating they give you and it continued to flake off. I took them back 3 times and it was too close to my prescription expiring and I was told it was just scratches from wear. After each new set of lenses it happened again. Usually 9 or 10 months later so I just dealt with it until my yearly appointment. Here we are again with the coating crackling off. I finally did research. Its called crazing and its well known in optometry so they should have been familiar. Or maybe they just didnt want to tell me. It can be caused be different things due to the application of the coating or the glasses being in extreme temps.ect but it shouldnt be happening on every single lens and has never happened on any other pairs Ive owned . Even the cheap online glasses I used to get for $20. The staff is fine and Ive added a star for that but none of that really matters if This happens every time. I really dont have a choice other than go somewhere else where this isnt and issue for me

I took my 5 year old in for an eye exam. They were great with him! They were patient and kind. He needed glasses, so they helped HIM pick out some frames he was comfortable wearing that also look good and will grow with him. They worked with my insurance and explained the pricing to me and, though their selection is pricey, hes very happy with his purchase. Anyone who has children that wear glasses knows how important it is for their child to want to wear them. This store helped my son find what he needed, and I am grateful.

Went in and asked about pricing possibility, glasses, insurance or paying out of pocket . The woman didnt even greet me and sort of gave me a sneer. When she finally talked to me (I had to ask) she was rude and very reserved. Yet was completely awesome to the customer . Dont know what the hell I did. Then didnt really help me quote insurance or out of pocket. So I only knew how much my frame was (no lenses or coating). The selection is so minor and I can get the frames for cheaper. Not planning to come back .

I have been going to this Clarkson Eyecare location for years. The doctor I have on a regular basis is very nice and has helped me a lot. The staff is nice and knowledgable and the eye wear selection is good.

I got Lasik done here and it was the worst decision of my life. I have horrible headaches, my eyes are extremely dry, and I cant see clearly.
