First, I absolutely LOVE Dr. Phan. He is the BEST primary care physician I have ever had. He has helped me through the most exhausting and debilitating year of my life and helped in every medical way possible. The reason for my two star rating, is his nurse. When I call to get my meds refilled, it literally takes AT LEAST a week, and she does not refill my medication with the amount that the Dr and I discuss at my med check ups. I usually end up having to call the front desk to ask THEM to refill my medicine, which they do right away. The last time I had called to get my medication, his nurse was extremely rude to me over the telephone; she kept talking over me and refused to refill the prescription as Dr. Phan had told me it would be refilled. Very rude and unprofessional. The nurse, Alyssa, also brought up some personal business of mine, which was unacceptable, and to my knowledge, a direct violation of my rights as a patient. Since that last conversation, one of my prescriptions was stolen from me when I took my children to the park before school started again. I filed a police report, and immediately called the Dr office to let them know what had happened. She refused to refill my rescription, stating "we dont do that here, youll just have to wait until your next refill." My grandmother was the head nurse of a hospital for over 35 years, and has told me that is not true, theyre actually SUPPOSED to represcribe up to half of the medication, until your next refill is due. I have now been without my medication for two weeks. Thanks a lot. The doctor and front office are amazing, but the refill nurse is very rude, and no one ever returns phone calls about medication. Even to answer simple questions. I had a different nurse call me about my prescription being stolen, who was also rude, and told ME THAT I WAS THE ONE WHO WAS RUDE with the nurse, which is false, and "that is not tolerated by Dr. Phan." I have all my paperwork and the recordings of the phone conversations, so I am very excited to see Dr. Phan in February and speak to him about this matter. Dr Phan himself is a great doctor. He deserves better from his staff in the back of the house!

I have been going here since my long term doctor retired. Dr Phan is a rare find today. He takes the time to listen, to get to know his patients. he makes reasonable lifestyle suggestions and is easy to talk to about any issue affecting my health. Too many doctors just rush from patient to patient and always seem to be starting fresh each time they see you. The staff at mansfield Medical Associates have been professional and friendly to me. Calling to get refills has sometimes been a problem. Refill calls usually go to voicemail. I have twice over the last couple years left a voicemail for a refill that was not addressed. both times the doctor wanted to see me first but I was not called to tell me to come in. I now speak in more detail to the person answering the phone. With the financial strain insurance companies put on doctors today Dr Phans office runs about as smoothly as you are going to find. The attentive treatment and on-site Quest Diagnostics and pharmacy Make Dr Phan well worth checking out as a family doctor.

I wish my experience had been better. I was a new patient and scheduled an annual preventive physical exam. Thats where everything went wrong. I asked if I need to take any special action prior to my exam and I was told absolutely not. Just to take a good shower prior to the exam. We both laughed at that statement. Of course, when I arrived the first thing asked was "have you eaten or drank anything in the past 12 hours". So the blood work had to be rescheduled for another day. I had to take time off from my day to come back and do the blood work. After the blood work, 7 to 10 days they will contact me with results. 14 days later, I called them. They told me to come in to discuss the results. I show up and they requested $127 to discuss the results. I didnt understand what good was an exam that is covered 100% by insurance but to see the results, I have to pay. Highly disappointed with the staff and doctors policy for reviewing results from an annual.

This doctors office is something I wouldnt recommend to my dying grandmother, the experience was probably the worst ones Ive ever had, they treat you like youre the smallest person in the world. The nurse Daphne is the most sarcastic woman Ive ever met, she is extremely rude and does not work well with her employees, not to mention the other nurses Alyssa and Dara their like a little evil team that looks out for people to tourment, these people have no business vein in the medical field.

I hate to give this place a 1 star since their doctors and FNP-C are very nice and friendly plus it minutes away from home. However, their staffs are very rude and unprofessional. They all should get fired or voluntarily quit since they dont seem to love their jobs and their environment of work. I wont come back here again.

Dr. Phan is the best physician! I refuse to ever change physicians, even if that means I have to pay more for my insurance.
