I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!! This was the worst experience Ive ever had at an eye clinic. My girlfriend and I had appointments scheduled for 2:10 and 2:20 and arrived at 1:50 to fill out new patient paperwork before hand. When we walked in, we were the only 2 people in the waiting room. I was called back first and as I was in the waiting room after having my eyes dilated, my girlfriend was then called back. Everything was great until the exam room part. I was then brought into an exam room in which the nurse (who was very nice) did her part and then left saying the doctor would be in shortly. I sat in the small exam room behind a closed door for 45 MINUTES before the doctor finally came in, and at this point I was livid. Meanwhile, my girlfriend had been waiting for 30 minutes in another exam room. After he finished with me I thought okay, finally hes going to take my girlfriend next and then we can get out of here, being we had a family event to attend that evening an hour away. FALSE! Dr. Paddock proceeded to another patients room while my girlfriend waited for him in her exam room for another 15 minutes while I looked at their very small selection of glasses. When she finally finished, it was 4:00...almost 2 HOURS just sitting in a tiny room waiting on the doctor, who apparently wasnt taking his patients in order of appointment!!!! As we were checking out, I was told I owed $10, and my girlfriend owed $20, so I questioned the lady what I was paying $10 for and she never gave me an answer. I told her with our insurance we get 1 free eye exam every year and she was VERY rude and proceeded again with "its going to be $10." Turns out we had to pay this money because we didnt buy glasses from them THAT DAY! I didnt have the money to pay for glasses that day, even though I didnt find a single pair of glasses that I liked or looked good on me, but had we not been waiting on the doctor so long, maybe she wouldve had the time to stay and look. In addition, we did not receive a written prescription and my girlfriend was told that if she didnt get her contacts from them, she would be charged a $125 fitting fee!!! Well they wont be receiving that money because we will not be returning to this unorganized establishment.

Loved everything about my experience. Clean office, helpful staff, kind doctors that genuinely care and great selection of glasses to choose from. My favorite thing about my visit was that I was constantly moving. The longest I waited by myself was the 10min before they called me back. I love how everyone works together to keep the patient flow moving. Will be returning and have already recommended this office and Dr. Wroten to family.

Ive been coming to Dr. Wroten in Hammond for at least 6 years. I had an elderly friend with an ailment that another eye doctor basically told them to go home and go blind. Dr. Wrotens care and concern was wonderful and she never lost her vision. He has done wonderfully with my son, who had a congenital condition, and with me and my "special eyes". All of the staff are caring and compassionate, as well as efficient.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience! She is only 10 years old and kind of a drama queen. She had never had an eye exam and was scared to have her eyes dialated. Between the wonderful staff and the calm and serene atmosphere of the office, she left smiling with the cutest pair of pink polka dot reading glasses! I would recommend them to any one, including parents and their children!

This was my second visit there and really enjoy the way they really help and ask needed questions.They also explain what they suggest you should do and also ask you if you may have any concerns for the reason. They also review your chart and know you have been there before The place I use to go to here in Hammond for over 6 appointments also treated me as a first time patient.

I recently took my son into their clinic, the staff was very friendly. I was extremely impressed that the wait time was not long at all. My son, who was skeptical as it was and being his first time at the eye doctor felt comfortable with the staff. Mr. Paddock was recommended to me by a co-worker and I was very happy. I felt at ease here. Best experience at an eye dr in my life. I hadnt had an eye exam in about 3 years and i didnt feel judged at all. The extremely nice and personable dr was wonderful! She explained everything she was doing and then some. I will definitely recommend anyone going here.
