Disappointed! I have been a patient of Walmart Vision Centers for years but decided to switch optometrists after discovering a female optometrist of color (August 2016). Dr. Rankin recommended that I try Air Optix Night and Day after I informed her that I seldom experienced sensitivity in my left eye ( at that time, I was wearing Acuvue Oasys Hydraclear Plus). I was given a pair of the Air Optix to try. I brought the contacts home instead of placing them in my eyes at the office because I was allowing my eyes to breath. The office called me a few days later to see if I was ready to order additional contacts. I informed the office that I had trouble placing the Air Optix in my eyes because they were uncomfortable. I also informed them that I would call to order contacts once my supply of the Acuvue Oasys Hydraclear Plus diminished. Fast forward to March 2017, I called to order contacts (The office did not answer. I left a voicemail and was contacted the following day.) I "specifically" asked and paid for Acuvue Oasys Hydraclear Plus. You could imagine my displeasure when the package arrived in the mail and I saw the Air Optix contacts. I immediately called the office (of course no one answered; I left a voicemail and was contacted two days later). The office staff stated that because I was "fitted" for the Air Optix, they could not send me Acuvue Oasys. They also stated that if I wanted Acuvue Oasys, I must come in for a second "fitting". KEEP IN MIND THAT I ATTEND SCHOOL 16 HOURS AWAY FROM MISSISSIPPI. I felt deceived because while I was ordering the contacts by phone, that was the perfect opportunity for them to notify me that although I am requesting and PAYING for Acuvue Oasys, they will be sending me the Air Optix. This is why I am disappointed in the office staff. In the meantime, I have tried to give the Air Optix another chance, but they are UNCOMFORTABLE!! I have resulted to only wearing my glasses. Wasting money displeases me as I received two boxes of Air Optix and will not be wearing them)!! When I return home for the summer, I will not be receiving my yearly eye exam from the Rankin Eye Professionals!!

Dr.Rankin is very thorough with her exams. She also takes her time with her patients. You dont feel rushed and she will explain things to you. I highly recommend Dr.Rankin
