I usually never write reviews but I want to be able to prevent someone going through the same ordeal. I went to have 2 wisdom teeth removed on my left side. First off she numbs the top twice thinking she numbs the bottom. She extracts the top no problem. I was thinking she was going to numb the bottom when the time came. So I told her it was not numb and she told me it was. She administered a dose of anesthesia to my lower jaw and tried to extract again without letting it set in. So I stop her. She lets it "set in" nothing happens. Im obviously not reacting to the medication or she gave me a fake dose bc she thought I was faking. The assistant tried to suction over the tooth that was being removed and it hurt like crazy to the point where I jumped. Their faces looked as of they were shocked I could feel it. Even after this the dentist still tried to remove the tooth. So I got up and I walked out of the office. 3 days later I call because I developed dry socket and I did not want to call the office but I had to. I called and they told me that I was not in pain from the tooth that was extracted. They told me it was from the lower tooth that they did not remove. How do you continue to tell me what pain I am in and am not in? I explain to them the pain and they told me there is nothing that they could do. The doctor told to just take a couple 800 mg motrin. Luckily Im a nurse and know that medications have a limit and I cant just take a couple. Also Motrin doesnt treat dry socket clover oil does. There is medication for dry socket. They refused to treat me which is very sad bc Im in pain. They said it was too early for dry socket to set in. Its been 3 days and dry socket takes 3 to 4 days to set in. They acted like I was looking for narcotics. Which I was not because even with narcotics the pain from dry socket would not subside.

I have been a patient at this office over the term of a few years. They are not well organized, nor are they consistent. I have had several issues with their billing and at one point had to contact my insurance company on their behalf because they could not manage to figure out how to put through a bill to my company. After me taking time out of my day to correct their mistake I was told by the representative of the office it was a good thing I called the insurance company and straightened it out for them. Umm? So basically they are incompetent and I did their job for them. Secondly, the work they do is most certainly not up to par by any means-- I have visited several times to have major work done and there is almost always some issue with what they do. Also they do not explain in detail the work they are doing for instance I have had a cap on my tooth done by a previous office that had managed to remain in tact from when I was very young up until two years ago. I went to their office to have it corrected and recapped and rather they opted to do a filling on my front tooth. At the time I was told by the dentist that this should last just about as long as the cap I had had done when I was very small for a chipped tooth. Now two years later I was told by a representative on the phone that I must have only heard what I wanted to hear and that this is not the case. The service is awful, the work is sub-par, and the people are incompetent. Do not go here. I have tried to contact an office manager or corporate for the poor service and just got passed around from person to person none of whom were ACTUALLY in charge of anything.

The first thing I would say is that when you need to have some dental work done the Dr. clearly explains what the problem is while showing you your own x-rays on a large screen an why the work should be done. She also explains the various steps that will need to be done and if they will need to take place over more than one visit. Having this information up front meant that there were no surprises along the way. Next, I would say that besides being an excellent dentist that the Dr. is somewhat of an artist when crafting a solution for a patient, what with all the things she might have to contend with as she progresses through a procedure, she is able to make the best decisions when presented with a challenge. Finally, I want to say that everyone in the office is very professional and knowledgeable in their various roles, from those who assist the Dr. during a procedure to how the office is run at the front desk and how insurance is handled. All-in-all its a good feeling knowing that you are in the hands of people who know what they are doing when you visit this office. I highly recommend this Dr. and this office to anyone looking for a better dental care experience.

Horrible dentist!! I have been going to the dentist since I was a young child and I have never had a painful cleaning until February 2014. My husband and I left with bleeding gums and painful teeth. Dr. Jila T. has no idea what she is doing. She ripped back our gums causing serious pain to our teeth and gums. For days after we were still spitting blood. Also, she lied and said I had 7 cavities, needed a root canal, plus a night guard. After getting a second opinion I was told I had two tiny cavities. Not really sure what Dr. Jila T. planned on filling!!!! Please DO NOT go here. I cannot stress how horrible this place is. All they care about is getting insurance money. They are not looking to take care of you!

I have lots of issues with the teeth because my parents were not able to take care of them when I was a child. I have been looking for a honest and reliable dentist for a long time without any success. I had to change my dentist a lot until I met Dr. Jila Tahmasebi. She pays good attention to my problems and suggest honest solutions. She doesnt take care of the problems on surficial level, but really does a good work on them. The staff in the office are kind and are flexible when I need to reschedule my appointment.

My experience with Dr. Jila Tahmasebi and the staff was amazing. The staff helped to take care of all of the problems i had with my teeth and much more. The Dr. and her staff were friendly, competent professionals. The staff at the front office were very polite and answered every question i had . The Dr. herself is very knowledgeable and amazing. If anyone is looking for a new dentist this is the one i would recommend.
