The worst experience EVER... I will never go to any other offices again. You had me in the chair from 12:45 - 2:30 numbing, yanking, pulling, nitrogen, cutting my gums, drilling, to tell me that you cant get the wisdom tooth. The icing on the cake was when the Dr. V stated "yeah you should have got this procedure done with IV sedation. " But this is what the Dr Y recommended last Friday. Dr. E advised the assistant to call me on Monday to say that Dr. V could perform it with no problem with Nitrogen. You could not possibly think that I want to continue treatment with any of your offices. Then you want to send the office manager to talk to me after I request my records and tell you I will take my chances somewhere else. And by the way Im still in your office Ms Office Manager and can hear you and your unprofessional staff in the lounge...Go Figure...you could have waited until I left the premises. Between you and the assistant Renee at the Oral Surgeon office in Dearborn, its a wonder that you all have any patients. I have excellent insurance through my employer. But you ASSUME that I could not afford it because it cost between 400-500. As I stated to Destiny and Cheyenne, before leaving th office...the other staff members need lessons on customer service from you all. This post probably wont make difference to Midwestern, but I thought the public should know.

I went to this place because it was covered by my insurance. I had to wait an hour after I got there before it was my turn. They dont have individual rooms for each patient, just a bunch of chairs lined up down a hall. The equipment is very old and nasty looking. While I was waiting for the lady to clean my teeth i saw her running around looking for clean tools, yes thats right, she couldnt find any clean tools. She finally came back with some arcane tools from the 80s and a sharpening cloth. She hand sharpened the tools in front of me and whipped off the tips with a cloth and put them in my mouth where she preceded to mutilate my gums. I was worried about the metal shavings getting in my mouth but let her go at it anyways not thinking of how that sharpening tool was covered in who knows what. It is now 6 hours later and my gums are still bleeding and I hope to god that I dont now have aids or hepatitis or something. The only reason I went there is to have them look at my chipped front tooth because its starting to wear away on the bottom, they told me that its normal for my teeth to do that and that I shouldnt worry about it. I am in complete shock from the experience and Im wondering if I should sue them cutting me up with unsterilized tools. Please, please, please dont go to this place and warn anyone you can.

Horrible. I went in on an emergency visit to have them fix a dislodged filling. After waiting for 35 minutes on hold (Their lines are always, always, always slammed) I got an appointment. The doctor gave me a temporary filling and told me to come back in 3 months. Seriously? I didnt even make it home before it fell out. I called another Dentist (Dr Roumani in New Hudson) and got an immediate appointment. She used a digital xray machine and found the problem. I got a PERMANENT filling which is still holding. I paid $350 cash and it worth every penny. Were switching to MetLife which Dr Roumani accepts. Id rather pay a bit more to get it done right. Ford Motor company should remove them from their benefit offerings. The one in Canton, MI is worse. Every other word was "insurance, insurance, insurance" So, in summary, Midwest Dental : * Factory atmosphere, get people in and out quality be darned. * No permanent fixes * Appointments are months and months away. They are overloaded and understaffed. It shows. * Long phone hold times. Try it yourself. Ill bet you a tuna sandwich youll get put on hold for a long while. * The doctor had the bedside manner of Dr Frankenstein * Outdated equipment (they used an xray machine that had small physical photos, what is this 1985?) Enter at your own peril.

I wish there was a negative star. I feel sick as a mother that I chose to switch dental plans at open enrollment to save money on braces. The office is old and dirty, the bathroom is always gross, expect at least an hour and a half wait then more waiting in the chair. They left my daughter to drool on herself without a bib while doing impressions, and then they were done wrong and we had to come back. When u have a cleaning u feel like cattle being rounded up in an assembly line. My 3 yr old is due for his first dental visit but I may post pone to avoid risk of traumatizing him of the dentist for life! PLEASE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE DO NOT GO HERE!!!! You WILL REGRET IT!!! We are switching back to Delta Dental so we can go back to office of our choice in October even if it costs me more money in the long run, there is no way I am coming here for 3 more years.i am filled with absolute discust and rage everytime I deal with this place! Also, good luck getting a hold of someone. Hopefully, an emergency doesnt arise.

Great for how dentists go. Ive had a few bad ones in my day (including another Midwestern Dental), but the doctors here were great. Ive had cleanings, fillings, and root canals at this location. Dentists here found a BIG cavity that another dentist didnt even notice. It was big enough that you could see it in an X-ray. So I had to have a root canal, which this establishment also took care of. They did a good job of it and keep enough of my tooth intact that I didnt need a crown! Saved me a bunch of money and works just fine (was well over a year ago that I had the procedure). With some of the bad experiences Ive had at other places, its definitely enough to keep me coming back. Pros: - Dentists are knowledgeable. - Staff was what Id expect for dentists office staff. - Saved me time and money! Cons: - Seems cleanings have the next available appointment in over a month. - Not great privacy, youre not in a single-chair room, there are 4-5 chairs in a line with dividers in between.

New in Michigan and new to Midwestern Dental. This place is in Farmington, I will review 4 for the moment and might give the 5th star once Im done with my last appointment. 1st appointment was good, went for a cleaning procedure, the dental assistant was gentle and did a good job. I have been asked to take a second appointment as they noticed 2 small cavities. 2nd appointment (filling cavities). Excellent, I have been treated by Dr.Arguello, very friendly and professional. Was initially tense, but quickly I realized that the entire procedure was absolutely painless. Chelsea his assistant was really sweet too, their relationship is great and they work well together during the procedures. 3rd appointment scheduled in 2 weeks for whitening, will probably get the 5th star if everything goes well. Side note, the equipments looked a bit old, compared to other places, but if they do the job well then I guess its not important.

I tried making several appointments at this office. A couple times after being given a room the dentist and/or assistant came in and asked me why I was there??? Apparently nothing ever gets entered correctly into the computer. Most recently after missing work again they told me that they were supposed to schedule me at a different location and they couldnt do the work there. I was told I had 3 cavities. Went in to get fillings and the cavities disappeared. REALLY! I went in for a cleaning and they thought I was there to get all my teeth pulled. All of this after switching from the Canton location due to similar situations. DONT GO HERE.
