i went into denton regional to get a surgery from one of surgery assoc. doctors and was scared and asked for a simple sedative and they blew me off so as i laid there and got more scared {as my wife had to go} and thought about how it could go bad,the nurse said no to a shot so i left. Then i get a letter in the mail that the doctor terminated the relationship with me. There was no blame put on the hosp im sure but if a patient cant be treated with respect and comfort why put your life on the line ,right?The moment i went in the room i asked for a shot and the nurse said ok-then after the iv was in it was a diff.story,they didnt care a bit i was terrified,i admit i did pull the iv out when i was leaving but thats because the nurse was ignoring me and i had to get out. So much for doctors and hospitals caring about people-its all about money! I suggest dallas baylor for these types of doctors!

Ive had quite a few Doctors over the last few years, and the experience that Ive had with Dr. Cruz and his staff completely blows every other practice out of the water. When I call and leave a message for a nurse one actually calls back within an hour or two. Not just once but every time. When Dr. Cruz talks to you, he doesnt talk to down to you but like a family talks to each other. With compassion and empathy. I personally think that he could make a fortune just training other doctors bedside manners and how to treat patients. He is definitely one of the last doctors that are in the medical field for the right reasons, and that is to heal the sick and make his patients better

I met Dr. Cruz and his staff in 2005. He performed multiple procedures on both of my legs during the next 4 years. I had complete trust and confidence in Dr. Cruz. I was given excellent care in the hospital and in his office. Dr. Cruz gave me recommendations on how to improve my health and enjoy a healthy life. I have been surgery free since 2009 and happy to report that I still get to visit with him and his staff at my yearly exam. Dr. Cruz is a gifted man and surgeon. He surrounds himself with courteous, profession, personable staff.

Dr. Rob Connaughton saved my butt in Dec. 2016. I was having stomach pain that resisted into my chest area. Went to Denton Heart Hospital as a precaution, in case of a cardiac event. The hospital is great, and the great ER doc diagnosed a ruptured appendix. Luckily he was in the area checking on a patient. It happened to be his birthday, and put it on hold so he could do the surgery. He saved my life. I am grateful to Dr. Connaughton for his expert hand in the ER. I have recommended him to friends and family as well.

I am a Veteran and VA healthcare is my only healthcare coverage. After the repeated neglect by the VA, II was forced to seek treatment from private sources. With minimal financial resources and no insurance, it was very difficult to find any facility that would even schedule an appointment. Surgery Associates were more interested in my well-being than my wallet. A very pleasant and comforting experience. I recommend them to anyone in need a medical assistance.

My son had to have emergency surgery gallbladder issues and Doctor Galen E Howard went to work no knowing that 20 year earlier my son who was 6 1/2 months premature had to have abdominal surgery to correct a block intestine that left severe scar tissue .Dr. Galen with his angel hands worked remove the scar tissue and continue to work on my sons gallbladder who had a stone the size of a large marble and save my son Jeffrey Jr. life Im forever grateful. He answers questions and does his best to put me at ease if a surgery is necessary. He even takes the time to speak to the people who are there for the patient. I am Thankful for all they do.
