I have been going to Arlington Family Practice and seeing Dr Dennis for over 20 years. She was amazing to work with: She had experience and knowledge that she shared generously. She would help me look for natural options for almost any condition as I preferred no medication unless it is the absolute smartest option. Dr. Dennis just retired, so I was set up to see her replacement, Dr. Aramath. Dr. Aramath and I spent some time chatting, mostly around what I needed and what she could provide. Shortly into the conversation, we could see it was not a good fit for us. So I will look for a different primary care physician. But she made sure I had what I needed to get by until I could find someone else. Dr. Aramath was so genuinely interested, empathetic and compassionate that I am sorry I will not be continuing with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone. I was impressed that she took the time to clarify my expectations based on my individual health needs. It was refreshing to see ahead of time that I would be better served by someone different and why. This practice as a whole has been good to work with and I will miss them. Denise is one of the nurses who has been there a long time and I dealt with regularly. She has been a joy to work with. Many thanks to Denise and the entire practice for over 2 decades of care!

The staff was very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. They treated my son inappropriately. Dr. Truong is very nice but the staff is horrible. My son was a new patient. He didnt know where the entrance was because the office entrance is in the back and he wasnt sure if other offices were connected to the building. His horrible experience started as soon as he entered the door when he asked the front desk was this the doctors office. The lady who comes to take your blood pressure and weight has no personality or customer service. I too experience her lack of people skills at my first visit. They office staff slander my son and one of the office staff members even had the never to tell him they were talking about him. He asked for another person to give him his shot and the lady jammed the shot into his arm. That can be consider assault. Since I liked doctor Truong, I thought it would be a good idea for my son to visit her. What a bad mistake. I will be looking for another doctor with a professional staff. The office manager needs to consider the type of people that were hired. Patients are clients. If you do not want to keep losing patients, my advice would be hire a new staff.

I used to be a patient of Dr. Dennis and really like the clinic. When Obamacare rolled out, my insurance policy got canceled and I had to get a different policy, which AFP didnt accept, so I had to go elsewhere. I now have (slightly) better insurance and this office takes my policy, so I called the office to see about getting an appointment with one of the doctors. I receptionist made me feel like absolute crap by telling me that I had gotten "dismissed" from the clinic and that she would have to call one of the doctors to "see if they would be willing to take me back as a patient." If they arent even training their receptionist staff how to speak professionally about a patients history, I am not sure I feel comfortable going back to them. UPDATE: I have to admit that I was a little overly sensitive on my call with them (Health Insurance these days will do that to me!) I got a super nice call back and explanation of some of the reasoning for their questions. They handled the situation well, and I think I can say I will be happy with their patient care from here on out.

Ive been to every doctor on staff at least once. Every one of them is very thorough and leave nothing to chance. I personally see Dr. Rice and my husband sees Dr. Gouldy. Dr. Rice and her assistant Sheryl are wonderful! Ive never had a doctor take as much time with me, explaining confusing test results and ways to better health. Also, Dr. Rice seems genuinely concerned in my health. I am not just a number. Most of the front desk staff, as well as the lab and pharmacy staff know me now. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and thorough. Labs are practically painless because the girls are great at sticking me one time, even though I have tough veins that roll and are hard to find. At one time, my insurance didnt cover seeing Dr. Rice. I had to change to someone new. That was when I really realized how awesome Arlington Family Practice is. I hope that never happens again with insurance.

Ive been with Dr. T.D for years. I recently ran out of medication and contacted the office for assistance on getting it refilled. The office staff told me to call the pharmacy to call my doctor office. My pharmacy called and they denied the request. I called and they said I need to make an appointment with the doctor. I explained to the nurse that my medication ran out and I could not take off work to come to the office for an appointment right a way. I asked if the doctor can just refill my med and I will make an appointment to come in later. They were very rude and denied my request. They were rude to the pharmacy. They told my pharmacy that they would not want to talk to me if I call back. I am very disappointed with the way I was being treated after being with them all these years. I guess they do not need me as their patient.

New to the area, scheduled my daughter a new patient appt 3 weeks in advance. Office staff was not the nicest. Cold, short-tempered, & brash. Anyway, I show up 30 min "early" for an appt that was yesterday. Honest mistake considering all that is going on, right?... Wrong! Doc refuses to reschedule me. Says we can never be seen there "again". Front desk just basically moves on to the next person. Wow! Felt so belittled & disrespected. Nonetheless, I guess I should view it as God saving me from something. Would not recommend. Especially for my childs doctor.

the office was seemingly nice until the last time I called to make an appointment. Apparently if you do not make an appointment at least once a year they consider you non-compliant and will no longer provide service to you. I did not think it was good medical or business practice to consider people non-compliant for not getting sick. I had this issue with them this week and the receptionist had a bit of an attitude informing me when I tried to make an appointment. Very unprofessional and not behavior I expect from a place called a "Family Practice."

Very horrible customer service !!! Called to ask the office visiting fee and related fee b/c I will use the coverage for my wellness exam from my insurance company, she was a lazy-ass, keep pushing me to talk with my insurance company by myself. I asked her to check my coverage since I can give her my insurance ID, and she put me on hold forever!!! Sucks service for sure!!! What she did totally present the clinic! if she cant respect her job and her potential customer, and there is no way for this hospital can be responsible for the patient!
