My family & I have used MaxHealth as our primary health care provider for about 12 years. Not once have we had ANY problems beyond what might be expected of a facility like this. Sometimes, unexpected delays do happen, but it is no fault of theirs (even if it were, nobodys perfect). Weve always received courteous service, expert medical care and have gotten to know several of the staff better. Weve found that, if you treat them as you want to be treated, you find that their behavior will match. Were especially thankful for Sue, who gets us our referrals as quickly as humanly possible (and shes swamped every time I see her); Victoria, LeeAnn, Leah & all of the MDs & PAs. Im sure there are others who Im leaving out, but I am just thankful they are there for me & my family. To those of you who left negative ratings (and those who might consider it in the future), perhaps you should think about how YOU behaved in their offices as you leave your comments. Do you expect to be treated as "extra special"? Do you feel that these people are here to serve you & should be quick-quick-quick about it? Are you looking for a medical provider who will tell you only what you WANT to hear? Or who will give you whatever prescription you want? Just remember, these people are professionals, and have been schooled for the work they do. Sometimes, they have to deal with rude patients who demand everything to their own satisfaction without regard for propriety. (Shame on them!) There are also days when they have to deal with really sick patients who may transfer their sicknesses to them (the staff), & they have to repeatedly wash, disinfect, etc. Bottom line, TREAT THEM HOW YOU WANT TO BE TREATED. These really are great people. Dont let the naysayers fool you. I thank God for MaxHealth.

I have used MaxHealth as our primary health care provider for about 20 years starting with Dr. Bullard until he moved on to higher things in the medical field. (ie He will be speaking to Congress again next week about mental health issues in America). My doc is Dr. Moorehead whom I would highly recommend him. Very wise, personable, informational, & quite likeable. I can’t ever remember having to wait a long time for him. He is always quick to get to the room because he gets to your needs & solutions immediately. My wife started going there 15 years ago to Dr. Barzin & now we are going to take our 12 year old son for his Sports Physical & develop a relationship with a new doctor coming on board, Dr. Daniel Clearfield, DO, MS. We haven’t met him yet but I know he is an Assistant Professor at UNT, does Orthopaedic Surgery & has NFL patients who see him. Good enough for me. MaxHealth has always been an exceptional service. On the few occasions I had ANY problems, they are great to figure it out & solve the issue. I have used several insurance providers over the years & now on cash pay which I think is much cheaper than using the insurance companies. Weve always received courteous service, expert medical care & have gotten to know several of the staff very well. I’m especially grateful for LeeAnn who goes above & beyond when I see her for shots. Victoria is always so helpful getting me scheduled. There are a number of girls in the back office that are exceptional. The way you treat them is the way you will be treated.

My family has been seeing the doctors at Maxhealth for well over 10 years. We have been through a lot of ups and downs with them; old office/new office, Dr Bullard there everyday to barely at all, however if there was a "down" time I always found someone willing to listen and work to remedy the situation, even Molly Bullard herself. This group is passionate about their patients and often I find myself taking so much more of their time than we should because we get chatting about day to day life. I love that they take the time to get to know myself and my family, I believe it helps them care for my family in a more well rounded way. I will be the first to admit while Maxhealth is not perfect, I usually go see them when myself or my kids are sick and really cranky, so often, a 5 or 10 minute wait feels like 30, and while it very rarely ends up to be true, when it does I remind myself that they were probably taking the time needed with another patient, just as I would expect them to with me. All of that being said if you need a specific referral....Shaun McMurtry is thorough, really listens and then looks beyond the obvious. Kelly truly cares about each of her patients, looking at all aspects of a situation before she suggests next steps. Stephanie and Dr Moorhead have always been good to us too. And PS....recently the response time has been amazing, within 24 hours my referrals or prescription refills are taken care of.......and that is unheard of....so thanks Maxhealth!

The doctors, nurses & other staff that work here are all great. However, they have their hands tied behind their backs because of the policies of Max Health. I would compare Max Health to McDonalds. They care about quantity over QUALITY. The policies that are in place regarding prescription refills & after hours care are cruel, unnecessary, & bad for patients. This office makes their patients jump through a lot of hoops & waste a lot of time & effort just to get their prescriptions refilled. And good luck getting them refilled on time. Ive been a patient at Max Health for a few years & Ive had to call ofter hours for an emergency 3 times, & they treated me terribly. They really wont do much for a patient after hours except recommend they go to the ER. Which is not the way a patient wants to be treated when they are suffering. They have so many patients that go to that office, & when you really need care after hours you are treated like a stranger rather than a patient that has been coming to their office for years. This clinic is corporate owned & their first priority is profit, its not quality care for the patient. They have so many rules & policies in place to protect max health from lawsuits, etc. that prevent patients from receiving the quality care & respect they deserve. Dont use this office as your primary health care provider. Max health cares about profits more than they do their patients.

Ive been a patient of Max Health Colleyville for 10 years. There was more personal care when they were smaller and in the Glade office. In their old office, I would have rated all of my visits with 5 stars. But now in the new office, its a hit or miss. The office and facility are beautiful but my experiences vary from fair to good each time I go, which is about 2-4 times per year. I have experienced long waits with an appointment and as a walk in. I have experienced the rushing in and out so they can get on to the next person. And have also experienced a typical wait time with expected standard care. Over the years, I mostly request Kelly. I am most comfortable with her. I like Dr. Moorhead too; hes very professional. Sayeh is nice too; I have no ill experiences with her. I have seen Stephanie so few times, I cant comment good or bad. There was a time when no one notified me of my test results from an annual physical and bloodwork. But sometimes they make follow up calls to see if youre feeling better from a sick visit. Like I mentioned before, its a hit or miss, so at this time, I have no plans of finding a new primary care facility.
