After having a less than informative appointment with a different doctor, I decided to go to Elite Orthopaedics and I am so glad I did. Dr. Carrell too his time going over my MRI results and X-rays (something the other doc didnt do) and told me exactly what was up with my knee. He told me what to expect as things progress and how I can help my knees get stronger. He was kind and patient and answered all my questions. The office staff is also really great. They are so friendly and I could tell they actually like their job. Every person who came in for an appointment while I was waiting was greeted by name. They asked about their spouses and family. I was really expecting it to be snooty because it is in a gorgeous building. I was so wrong. If you need a second opinion or even a first go see Dr. Carrell

I have been a patient of Dr. Carrells for about 5 years. During that time his staff members have changed, but Dr. Carrell and his staff consistently provided professional, courteous, and empathetic care. Over the last five years Dr. Carrell and staff have provided me with arthroscopic knee surgeries with continuing maintenance care. Dr. Carrell and his staff are always friendly and helpful, which enables me to make appointments that best fit my busy schedule. At the orthopedic practices I visited before, when scheduling appointments, the staff and Dr. would work with my scheduling needs. Additionally, the Dr. spent very little patient contact time, and matter of factly presented my orthopedic issues--no meaningful discussion. Elite orthopedics is by far the best practice I have visited.

After a terrible experience at a different orthopedic office I was given a referral here for a second opinion, and it has made all the difference. The staff is prompt, friendly, and well-organized, and they were able to see me on very short notice. Dr. Carrell has an excellent bedside manner, and really takes his time going over test results and listening to your concerns. He checked things with my knee that no other orthopedic specialist I had been to had even thought to do, and was able to give me a straightforward answer as to what the problem was- something I had never gotten in over three years of working with other specialists. It felt like the first time I was taken seriously by an orthopedic doctor, I cant recommend Elite Orthopaedics and Dr. Carrell highly enough.

Thank God I found Dr. Thomas Carrell who performed my hip replacement surgery. He, Nate and all of their office personnel are professional, courteous and efficient. They gave me detailed direction throughout this surgical experience and always patiently asked if I had any questions, including when they visited me twice daily in the hospital. During the two visits before surgery, Dr. Carrell took time to thoroughly explain what would take place during and after surgery. He is, I believe, a perfectionist with an abundance of humility. I do and will continue to recommend him and would trust him to perform surgery on me again.

Dr. Carrell either did his homework (checked my medical records) or is exceptionally observant. During my visit, he addressed the medical problems I have in addition to the reason for my visit. Ive had doctors that made a diagnosis before they even saw me and without looking at my records. That didnt happen with Dr. Carrell. Im impressed!
