My husband and I had to take our toddler with us when we both had appointments at Eye Care Associates. I expected the staff to be annoyed at him, but I was totally wrong! They were all very friendly; they even gave him a pair of toy glasses to keep! At the very end of our visit, as we were picking out our frames, our son discovered a basket full of toys and was content to let us take our time picking and ordering our glasses. Dr. Krauss was very thorough and explained everything to us. We didnt feel rushed at all, even though hes good about being on time. All of the equipment he (and his staff) used was very clean and modern. Last of all, when we paid our bill (we dont have any insurance, so we paid cash), they gave us a discount to help reduce the sticker shock...and didnt bat an eye when I wanted an explanation of all the charges! Overall, we were very impressed with Dr. Krauss and Eye Care Associates.

The doctor was super friendly, but rushed, didnt dilate my eyes or have a machine to check peripheral vision loss (one looks into it and presses a button when they see a light). The woman in the glasses purchase area never smiled, and was impatient and rude. When the glasses came in, they had a gray tint, due to the anti-reflective coating, which looked bad, and none of my prior glasses with AR had this, plus I still saw reflections. The prescription for my weak right eye was less than for my good left eye, and did little, so seemed like the wrong prescription. They were nice to give me my money back for the glasses, but did not for the exam, which has to be redone elsewhere. The glasses seemed much more expensive than other places I have gone, and their selection is limited due to being in a small room. They seem to use a lens provider which has a fancy website, but I found did not work well.

Dr Hardin x 2, both are awesome! I have seen them for many years, and have 3 children who also see them annually. Staff is excellent, very friendly and professional. Drs are very friendly, provide thorough explanations for any questions you have on your or your childrens eye care. I am happy to have found a home for me and my children regarding how they see the world!

The doctor was great, the technician was great, the staff lied and said they took my insurance, told me my exam would be covered, then charged me after I was done. They were incredibly rude - mean, even - and acted like it was my fault. I wish I could recommend this place, but apparently theyre more concerned with money than they are with honesty or eye care.

All my insurance questions were answered before my visit. My 6 yr old felt very comfortable for his first visit to the eye doctor! I will absolutely be visiting the office for future appointments. Thanks, Dr. Harris!
