I had never had a need to go to an optometrist. Last June, I had a severe irritation start in my left eye and could not figure out what was going on. On a recommendation from a co-worker, I called Pinnacle Eye Associates and requested an appointment. The young lady who answered the phone suggested that I come in as soon as possible to get my eye looked at in case it was something serious. I took her suggestion and got to the office as quickly as I could. It turned out that this was the right thing to do, as I had a piece of metal lodged in my eye! Dr. Alfieri took care of the problem with ease and got me feeling better fast. The professionalism that Dr. Alfieri and her staff displayed during my visits here was teriffic. Possibly best of all, I got a phone call from her office about three weeks after my final visit, and was told that I was owed back some money due to my insurance kicking in. I went back by, and was credited back over $400 on my credit card. Wow!! I am very proud to live and work in this community with business professionals such as Dr. Alfieri. I wish I could give this business more than just five stars!

Amazing doctors office! I found them from a friends recommendation when I had an eye injury over a holiday. Dr. Alfieri came into the office on the holiday to check my eyes. The office staff is friendly and goes out of their way to give you a good experience. They are thorough and detailed. As for the review about not being competitive...Dr. Alfieri told me that I could get my reading glasses from the drugstore if I wanted to. Only when I complained that the over the counter reading glasses make me sick to my stomach did she ask me if I wanted to get custom reading glasses. They also have a patient appreciation day every year with wonderful sales on their products, free eye exams for the kids, free gifts for their patients, and they even bring in a photographer to take complementary family pictures. Do yourself a favor and visit Pinnacle Eye. As for negative reviews....there are some people that find the negative in everything. I cant imagine anyone in the office being anything other than friendly and helpful.

They were friendly at first. I chose them based on location, but should have driven a bit further and visited one of the many optometrists in the area. The excessive billing and charges were too much. But once I had a problem and wanted to get my prescription and shop around for cheaper contacts and glasses, they kept me waiting and slow-playing me to avoid giving me my prescription. I had to make multiple phone calls and several visits just so they could give me what I paid for. Their prices are not competitive and their selection is lacking, I can buy contacts and glasses much cheaper online and not have to make 3-4 trips and lose valuable work time. I paid for an exam and a prescription, not to be hassled and unconvenienced because I didnt give in to their over-priced merchandise. I would AVOID these guys and visit an establishment with good customer service AND competitive pricing.

Pinnacle has the latest in technology. They offer alternatives (at a price) to dilating your eyes (and measures the impact UV rays has on your eyes). Happy with my visit with Dr. Green. She was very nice and thorough. My appointment was to be fitted for contact lenses and to get a prescription for eye glasses. Or so I thought.... No issues getting contact lenses ordered. However, when I was handed my prescription for eyeglasses, the script was missing the very important pupillary distance measurement. When I asked for the measurement, the office manager told me that would cost me another $40. You mean I dont get that key measurement after spending $400 for the visit? I was told that they do not provide that because I might go to a competitor to order glasses. If I knew this information UP FRONT, I would have probably taken my business elsewhere. Buyer beware!

They told me that my insurance was not in their network so they couldnt file the claim and made me pay for the services in full saying I would have to work it out with my insurance, and then they filed with my insurance and they received a check, but I have received no reimbursement, so they have gotten paid twice and I have gotten nothing. This was after having an uncomfortable experience with the sales staff. The salesperson got very upset when I asked to use my current frames for the new lens prescription because of the cost of the new frames and then told me my lenses would be $450 and when I said I would be unable to afford that, got even more upset and made to feel like I was somehow less of a person for indicating that was more than I could afford, then had trouble getting the prescription so I could get the lenses elsewhere at a more reasonable price.

I have been going to Pinnacle Eye Associates for about 4 years now. The service has been excellent the whole time. The staff is very friendly and professional. The prices may be on the higher end of the competition (very appropriate for the location), but the service is well above that of the other eye doctors Ive been too in the past. Ive never had a problem getting my prescription from them to have the opportunity to buy the product from another source. Theyve always worked with me very well. Dr. Alfieri and her staff go above and beyond to make sure their customers eye needs are met. Im a professional pilot and I choose her because I trust her to take care of me, my eyes, and my career. I highly recommend her and her staff to meet your eye care needs.

I was very hopeful that this would work out, but it hasnt. Im familiar what state law requires as far as eye exams go, Pinnacle adds their own required "deluxe" type of package on top of that. So there is no way youre walking out of there without coming out of pocket a few hundred bucks. When I questioned the extra fees prior to my scheduled exam, I was laughed at and spoken to very condescendingly. The front desk lady, office manager and Doctor were all present so its obvious that this is acceptable in their office as no one attempted to sort out the issue. No thanks, Ill take my business to a doctor that believes in following the law, informed consent, and customer service.

I cant imagine anyone writing a negative review of this place, my wife and I couldnt be happier with our experience. I wasnt overcharged, I wasnt upsold anything, nor pressured to fill my prescription with them. What did happen was that I had the best eye exam Ive ever had. Dr. Alfieri and her staff are fun, pleasant people, with great attitudes. Lets face it, going to the eye doctor, or the dentist, or something like that is usually a chore. Not here. I recommend them highly, and from the amount of people Ive seen in there, Im not the only one. Now if theyd just serve wine from their little refrigerator... ;-)
