Wish I had this to do over again. Very unhappy with my results overall. I could write a book on the mistakes made - from the lab not calling me for a front tooth crown match (and that same tooth is too thick) to cheek biting that is still haunting me after their work (because of an improper bite). I was given the option during the time they were putting the front crown on to put the temp back on and start over. Bad position to be in - so I chose incorrectly, said keep it and after living with it -- it sticks out like a sore thumb when I smile (so I dont smile). I specifically told them that what I disliked about my old crown was that it was too thick. They said the lab said the new crown had to be the way it was for some reason (I know this is not true because the very first crown I got when I was a young girl was perfect). I have gone to another dentist who tried to do a correction, but its still unsatisfactory -- better but still wish I had not had it done. Worst of all, Im still having problems after several months due to other work they did. My new dentist is trying to correct my bite, but I may have to have a crown they did taken out and redone (even possibly a root canal). I am disappointed and sorry I went to Dr. Hallum. The other dentist might be fine, but my experience was very bad overall. Just sick to think I went in for a routine cleaning without any problems (they managed to find many things that needed to be done). Now Im looking down the barrel at living with a front tooth I dont like, and possibly having to have a new crown or even root canal on another tooth. I am very sensitive to cold and have to eat cold things on one side of my mouth. And, as if all this isnt bad enough, they overcharged me $600. My husband found the mistake, and they reimbursed. And....after being in pain after one procedure, calling the office and asking for a prescription for pain medicine, Britany (sp?) didnt even call me back. I got something finally from my family doctor. When I asked her why I got no call back, she said Dr. H was headed out the door. I guess calling to say he wasnt available was too much to ask. I was so angry for being left like that - waiting for a call back, in pain, and the irresponsibility of her not even calling. Dr. M may be fine, but as you can see, I could not have been unluckier. Last but not least, I called and told them to send my records to my new dentist. They (Britany again) didnt do it. I called again, and they sent an incomplete set. I dont know how people like this stay in business. One Star is too high a rating. I should probably report them to the Better Business Bureau.

At first, I was somewhat leery and skeptical. Up until my visit here, I had never had a cavity in my life, but Dr. Hallum found several. But, after voicing this skepticism Dr. Hallum went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and at ease with his conclusion. He took several pre-op pics with the intra-oral camera to show me what he was thinking and then in the middle of the first filling he halted everything just to take another picture to show me what the cavity looked like after chipping down one or two millimeters. I highly recommend Premier Dental of Boerne. Lauren the hygienist is great at what she does as well.

Ive been seeing Dr. Hallum for over 10 years now, and couldnt be happier with Premier Dental. They have a very friendly staff, and Ive had nothing but good experiences since seeing them. Laren is my hygienist, and is the by far the best Ive ever had. Along with her professionalism, attention to detail, and friendly personality, she genuinely cares about her patients. Looking forward to coming here for many more years!
