My father died at this hospital. He walked into the ER with breathing problems. He was basically given an oxygen mask and left to sit for another hour. The personnel at the desk told my mother they were very busy. After an hour they started working on my father. At one point after a CT Scan he told the doctor that he couldnt breath and he was dying. They finally put a tube in him. He never woke up again. He was taken to ICU where we had a nurse who kept telling us that he was going to die. I think we pretty much gathered that on our own. He died 30 hours after WALKING into the ER.. NO DOCTOR TALKED TO US ABOUT WHY HE DIED OR WHAT CAUSED HIS DEATH. There was a doctor that pronounced him dead, but he didnt talk to us at all about what happened to my father. We thought someone else was going to come. But no one ever came. The nurse was supposed to talk with us about an autopsy but didnt. She just signed off that we didnt want one without telling us. If he had died within 24 hours he would have automatically received an autopsy. We were a grieving family. It never dawned on us that the hospital didnt know why he died until we received the death certificate two weeks later. It read "Pneumonia". Dad wasnt having any pneumonia symptoms before that day he went into the hospital. We talked to his doctors after the fact and they didnt know what happened to him. Because we were never offered the autopsy option (we didnt know we could have one) we will never know what happened to my dad. This experience with this hospital was the worst experience of our lives. We wish we could go back and take him to another hospital. My dad was 72 but he had been healthy and had a longer life the live. The best answer we got from his doctor a couple of weeks after he died was that he breathed in something he shouldnt have... We will never know what happened to our beloved father. My son will never get the chance to know the greatest person I have ever known. We watched my father die in a hospital that in our opinion didnt seem to care.

Do not have your baby here! The staff in the labor and delivery department are thieves. My daughter delivered there on Tuesday. Wednesday morning her wallet was stolen. It contained her whole life within it. As well as her sonogram pictures of my grandbaby. That is something that can never be replaced. The nursing staff with the exception of one was horrible. We basically delivered her daughter on our own with the help of the one amazing nurse that happened to be on staff that morning. Only to have the Doctor humiliate her in front of us. That nurse whos name was Cindy was amazing. Other than her the experience wasnt the greatest when it should have been a happy time. I will be contacting the hospital administration to get my daughters belongings back. Apparently this isnt the first time this has happened.

Unsecured ICU unit- anyone can walk in. I walked straight thru the door that read Authorized personnel only and found no one on duty. I entered my loved ones room where an alarm was going off and after 15 minutes has to leave the ICU area to find someone to turn it off. Patients who are laying in comas are not being protected if just anyone can enter as they please!! Just because theyre not able to wake up doesnt mean they shouldnt receive proper respect from staff. I could go on and on- Im just disgusted with this place! I drove 10 hours to be here and couldnt even get a chair to sit in, or a drink of water- after finding not 1 drink machine was in working order.

due to a car accident form someone who did a hit and run on me. I go in the E.Rand they tell me to sign in.and they totally skipped me while I waited over an hour! To top it off the person who signed in after me got seen before me.. so those bastards skipped me. Didnt call my name! Theyre rude, it stinks in there. Do not go to that place! Now the medical building is better than the damn hospital! Screw you nurses and front desk ladies, yall are Rude asses!

Most expensive 10 mins of my life!!! Lanced my ear....basically poked lobe with a needle to drain a cyst. Received a bill for 2800.00 from center and separate Drs bill for 683.00. These is so so wrong. Called for an itemized bill 3 days ago and supervisor supposed to call me back. Go elsewhere!!! Giving one star to be able to write review!

Horrible ER. Smelled like puke. Waited almost 2 hours and never took admitting info. They completely forgot about us. My daughter in law was in a hit and run car accident and in a lot of pain. Went to Premier Medical and they were awesome!

Financial care here is a joke. I called to update my insurance information, it turned into a 3 hour game of phone tag and being hung up on 5 times in a row. Im in awe at the level of incompetence displayed by this department.

Very rude staff and they dont care if your in pain, instead you get a sarcastic response. Very unprofessional and a patient shouldnt have to wait 30 minutes to get a response from a nurse when they push the call button.

My husband recently had an outpatient surgery here. Every nurse and other hospital staff that we encountered, are top notch!! They made our experience a pleasant one. 5 stars for Drs Regional Hospital staff.
