I visited this clinic in April to have my Shar Pei examined. I was told that he needed etropian surgery on all four eyelids. When checking out I was given a invoice quoting the cost of the procedure as being 262.35 I called to schedule the appointment a few weeks back. The surgery was scheduled for July 17th. On the morning of July 16th the office called to confirm our appointment for the following day and confirmed the cost of the procedure. However, later that afternoon I received another call from Lakeland. I was told I was given the incorrect amount and that the cost that was provided to me was for each eye. I decided to cancel the appointment. My issues is how is it that after the doctor examined my dog and informed me that all 4 lids needed to be done they would give me a invoice for only one eye. How is it this amount was again confirmed when the appointment was scheduled. Why would they call me the day before the surgery to inform me that the cost was actually double of what I was quoted. This clinic is nothing I would recommend...Now I have to take my pup to yet another vet to be examined then wait for a surgery date.

I took a very sick elderly cat (19 yrs old ) to Lakeland Animal Clinic on Nov. 29, 2016. Unfortunately he had to be euthanized during this visit, but Dr. Klinkosz and his assistant Greg made a difficult situation more tolerable through their show of compassion and empathy. Dr. Klinkosz is a highly skilled veterinarian and a kind person who is full of charisma. He has an endearing accent and friendly smile. His assistant Greg was gracious enough to pet and comfort my cat the entire visit when I couldnt as I had to consider what was about to happen and make decisions and phone calls, all while being overcome with grief. I am also thankful for Stephanie the receptionist at the clinic, who shed tears with me. None of you will be forgotten. Ive always believed that the best of the best in any given field are those who would be doing whatever it is they do even if there were no money or title or accolades, and I can truly say I can envision both Dr. Klinkosz and Greg set up somewhere in a little makeshift shack or garage with minimal supplies caring for animals simply because its in their hearts.

I use Lakeland Animal Clinic for my personal animals as well as for the rescue agency in which I am involved. Dr. Klinkosz is an extremely talented clinician that truly cares for his patients and their families. I have been thoroughly impressed with the care all of the animals Ive sent to the clinic have received, as well as the level of compassion Ive witnessed from Dr. Klinkosz and his staff. I highly recommend this clinic for all small animals; the price is right and the animals receive the TLC they deserve.

I have to agree completely with the first review "client". Our animals - 5 dogs and 3 cats - love Dr. Klinkosz and his staff. He is very good about explaining what is going on, hes patient, answers questions and will suggest alternative remedies instead of going straight to the big bucks solution. All in our furry family are doing better with his treatments and advice.

I take all of my animals to Lakeland, the staff are kind and truly care about the animals they look after. They always educate me on the medicines and vaccines being given to my animals so I have all the information available. I like the piece of mind I get from taking my animals to Lakeland because I can trust the staff to treat my animals as if they were their own.
