I had an appointment set for today for my baby to get her booster flu shot. When I arrived at the Ashburn location, I was told by the receptionist, Sierra that my daughter did not have an appointment. She then proceeded to go talk to someone in the back, and came back to tell me there are no more flu shots available at that location and she is not sure why Ashley (the one who I made the appointment with yesterday) told me to go there. I told her that was unacceptable and I wanted to speak to the office manager. I had brought my daughter during her nap time so she could get the booster before they ran out and I was instructed to go to the Ashburn location because Brambleton (the location across the street from my house) was out. Sierra never once apologized. I stood in front of her desk, waiting for the office manager to come out and she never gave me an update on what was going on. I overheard her speaking to the other (awesome) receptionist, where she told her they now magically found a flu shot for my daughter. I then asked, "so is she able to get her shot?" Sierra then looked up at me, put her hand up to me and said, "you need to wait. Im putting her in our schedule." Thank you so much for the update as I stand and wait to see if my visit to your incompetent office is a total waste of time or not. Thank you for acknowledging me, as I stand there and wait for your rude ass to tell me whether or not the office manager is still coming out to talk to me. Needless to say, Sierra has no professional bone in her being. This office always seems to have some type of mix-up and this is the second time Sierra has shown how unprofessional, rude, and nasty she is. 2 star rating, only because the other receptionist is wonderful; always smiling, polite, efficient, and professional! They need to get rid of Sierra and just have the other woman handle the front.

I was looking into becoming a new patient with Broadlands Family Practice, but I will definitely be looking elsewhere... Its a shame. I have really liked both doctors I have seen, but the customer service/front desk staff experience has been horrible on every occassion--so horrible that I cant take the frustration anymore. I made my first appt. over the phone and was told to go to the Broadlands office, when my appt. was at the Brambleton office. When I arrived at the wrong office, they explained to me that my appt. was at the other office and called to see if I could just head on over to the other office. They gave me the go ahead to drive to Brambleton instead of rescheduling. When I arrived at Brambleton, they told me my appt. was cancelled and they couldnt take me. For other 9-5ers like me, it can be incredibly difficult to get off work for an appt. like this. It was a huge waste of my time to go to both offices and have zero appt.s. I rescheduled and they were incredibly rude about that and took no accountability for staff communication problems. Id recommend looking into a doctors office that takes the time to clarify details with new patients and has better staff organization.

Finally decided to leave the (Brambleton) practice today after 8 months, I feel theyre capable - but not right for us. I ask questions so I can better understand, it appeared this practitioner wasnt as tolerant (ie: more agitated over time) - as if I was questioning their abilities when in reality I was just trying to understand. I disagreed with additional appointments that didnt appear needed this time around, we were under the care of other medical Drs including the hospital attendings...but it was as if other board certified Drs werent knowledgeable enough to trust. I take charges even to Medicare seriously, as if theyre billings to me...and it has to make sense before Ill do it. Most people would likely not worry about extra costs b/c theyre covered, but US health care costs are always soaring - and I dont want to contribute to it if not required. Repeating a diagnosis for little reason other than legal coverage is not the type of practice were looking for. Our experience has been eroding over time I feel, my daughter attended last appt and mentioned afterwards she felt they didnt treat us very kindly and that we should change - I guess today I finally agreed with her. :)

We just moved to Brambleton last week and we were in search of a peditrician for our kiddos. We received a general recommendation from our childrens school that Broadlands Family Practice in Brambleton had openings. I called and made an appointment for our two older children. When we arrived, we had not received our BCBS insurance cards. We provided them with the paperwork showing proof of insurance however they denied service unless we paid completly out of pocket and submitted for reimbursement ourselves. When asked if they would mind calling BCBS, they flat out refused. We are strong believers in customer service both as a small business owner and as examples for our children. When faced with people who are unwilling to esesntially do their job, it makes it difficult to return. The fact they had such quick availability should have been an indicator. Live and learn.

I have no idea where these negative reviewers have been going. I have been coming to this facility for approximately 3 months, as my physician changed locations to the Broadlands FP from Centreville a while back. I make the 40-45 minute drive out just to see her, and I have had nothing but the best customer service and warm reception from the crew there. You have to understand, this is a quite spacious, beautiful facility located at the end of a wonderful little shopping center. They have their own parking garage with access to the office right through the door! The staff here is always VERY VERY busy, as you can imagine with all the bureaucracy of medical insurance alone. But they always greet me with smiling faces and have been nothing but helpful not only to me but to everyone who Ive seen walk through the doors. They deserve a much higher rating than this.

Been going here for nearly 10 years. Theyve gone steadily downhill since Privia took over. Office staff is HORRIBLE about things like making sure a prescription is called in, calling with important lab results, giving you the wrong office address for a referral, one person giving you one story and the next call a completely different one. You know, the small stuff. They apologize, and they AGAIN dont do what they say they will. After a week of trying to get them to refill my blood pressure med I am now out, its Sat at 12:40 and they are closed until Mon. Twice they told me they did it. Neither time did they call it in. I guess blood pressure meds arent important. Im sure not, thats pretty clear. There is NO ACCOUNTABILITY in the office. Strongly recommend you go elsewhere until they fix their problems. I am just DONE.

Someone from the Brambleton office called and left a message for my mother who is in rehab recovery from hip surgery last week. I called them this morning and NOT one person knows why they called my mom. The person I spoke to first said was this in regards to her medication? I told her if it was then that was from 3 weeks ago and now someone is calling her back. Since the person didnt leave their name I couldnt ask to speak to a specific person. If there was a negative star option I would choose that. Looking to switch family physician for myself and mom IMMEDIATELY!. Received a call from the nurse @ 5:10 pm they were calling to let us know that my mom was cleared for surgery. Well her surgery was last Wednesday and the doctor knew the date of her surgery. SMH!!!!!
