There is a major problem with the way this practice bills their clients. After you have your procedure they write the information for the billing on a pink slip of paper. The Medical Assistant takes this form to the front desk for the receptionist to charge your account. Then they shred this billing slip and process your payment. I Paid my account in full at the time of service only to receive a bill weeks later stating they did not bill the account correctly and wanted me to pay the balance. They admitted that the mistake was made at my expense but did not offer to correct the situation or forgive the bill. The Office manager simply stated she would pass the account on to collections. I did not know the amount on the pink slip until the Office Manager stated that the Medical Assistant wrote down the wrong number of units. I would be very leery to ever go to their office again without a formal documented bill for the services up front with signatures of the provider and myself agreeing to the amount they were going to charge me. For this lack of customer service and billing errors their practice will not be obtaining any referrals from me or my colleagues.

She gets one star because you cant give zero. I went to her for removal of a small benign cyst on my face. After 7 visits and 2 surgeries I am left with a permanent scar and lump of scar tissue on my cheek that looks worse than the original cyst did. After the first surgery did not go well and did not heal properly, she told me she would repair it at no additional charge. I trusted her to do the right thing and live up to her word. However, she billed my insurance for the second surgery which left me with a several hundred dollar balance. When I asked her about this she flat out refused to discuss it and told me to talk to her billing staff. I refused to pay this bill, so now she has sent it to a collection agency. Thanks Doc. Great Job! What a butcher and not a very nice or scrupulous person. After 7 office visits and walking around with bandages on my face for many weeks, now I get the added pain and insult of having to deal with a collection agency. All you had to do was live up to your word and fix this problem properly. But instead you got defensive and walked out on me. I did my best to be a pleasant and cooperative patient.

My experience with Amy Ross was great. As far as the others, it has been okay. My biggest complaint with this establishment was the front desk. The skin care side had a very nice girl who helped me with my next appointment, but the cosmetic side was another story. There were three attendants sitting there all sitting there staring at you as if you were bothering them, and you had two heads. The blonde, Heather was the most offensive. I asked one question about my next appointment, and she yanked the phone so fast to call someone about it like I did something wrong by asking a question. She then talked to me with such a tone, I felt uncomfortable and embarrassed. I cancelled my appointment, and I wont be back to the skin care side either. I have a choice on where I spend my money, and it definitely wont be there. I left a message letting them know, but never got a call back. Its a shame. One person can ruin the whole bunch. If asked about my experience there by anyone, I will be completely honest as well. It pays to be kinder.

I came in to have an annual skin screening and was very impressed with the staff that treated me. They were knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to me. I decided to take advantage of the skin screening promotion and scheduled an appointment in the Spa. All the staff that I met were kind, considerate and friendly. They even took time to answer all of the question that I had about the many products they sell there. I have to say that unlike the previous reviewer, my experience with Heather was very helpful and she spent plenty of time giving me a make over, answering questions and making me feel very comfortable. I will be happy to return to Palm Harbor Dermatology to take advantage of all their services.

Dr. Ross is Dr. AMY ROSS, and SHE did not preform a breast surgery, unless it was to remove a cancerous lesion, or do a biopsy. If you have had a bad experience, do it with the Dr. you actually were treated by.... Dr Ross office is elegant, quiet, refined, comfortable, and she is very personable. Her staff are all quite friendly. EXCEPT her Esthetician. She is pushy and rude when alone with me, and almost pushes products I dont wish to buy onto me, until I feel bad, but dont even use them. I really wish she would fire that girl. Thank you for listening, and Dr. Ross, you did GREAT on my peel and subsequent laser treatments as well as the botox and juvederm!! Thank you thank you so much!! P

Very Disappointed of the office staff, i do not recommend this office, I set up an appointment for my daughter to see the doctor , we end up seen the nurse practitioner. She prescribe couple new medications for my daughter however did not give us the scrip , they said they will call them in to the pharmacy. I went to pick up the prescription and they were never send. I called the doctors office to find out was wrong , they were not able to give me an answer, they said they will passed my message to the nurse to called me back , I never herd back from any one, I called again next day asked for the office manager but they said she was in a meeting. I got the same answer the day before.

I definitely do NOT recommend this office for any dermatological needs. I called in advance and they told me how much my visit would be. I paid it in-office. Then the doctors visit was less than useless. Everything out of her mouth was I dont know or was prefaced with I think.... THEN I get a bill for another $28 a month later, adding insult to injury. When I called to tell them about the visit and that I wasnt going to pay the additional money they said they didnt really have anyone there to deal with customer service issues and would send me to collections. This is the kind of service you will receive from this office.

My appt was in the South Tampa Location with Ariel for CoolSculting. I want to commend her for her professionalism. She explained the procedure in detail and I felt as if I was in my own home and what I mean is I was so relaxed and clam even though I did really know what to expect from the procedure. It was a great experience and I recommend that anyone who is interested in having CoolSculting done to consult with Ariel. Im sure you will be 100% satisfied as I am. I also brought my best Freind Janet with me and she was so impressed with her and how she took care of me through the whole procedure .

I would recommend Palm Harbor Dermatology to everyone, they have nice friendly staff and are always attentive to my needs. I would recommend to see their PA Audrey for your skincare needs, she is the best. I have gotten laser hair removal from Heather and she is by far the best she is quick so it doesnt even hurt long. Palm Harbor Dermatologys Retreat staff is wonderful, Heather and Jenni are always so helpful with products and making my new appointments. And Brenda the esthetician is amazing her facials are so relaxing and she made my skin beautiful!
