As always, I had an awesome experience at my dentist. I dont know about you guys but I have never been able to say that until I started going to Modern American Dentistry. In the past I would go to my dentist and I always felt I had pretty good teeth, you know. However, every dentist Ive ever been at prior to this one had always, and I mean always at every visit tried to sell me some kind of extra item that my insurance didnt cover. It always felt like it was unnecessary. There was a serious lack of trust. And come on, you have to be able to trust your dentist! Besides that huge super important factor, every time I go to my dentist, everyone is always so nice and so helpful and so genuinely concerned with making sure I have a good visit. Customer service and peace of mind are not lost at my dentist. Its awesome.. I was just in for a routine cleaning with my hygienist. She was so nice, so helpful and so informed. And for myself as a single person I couldnt help but notice that she was absolutely beautiful. And I ended up thinking to myself, wow this place can do no wrong. Born and raised in Manhattan Beach and El Segundo, Im happy to recommend Modern American Dentistry and Im very proud that they are in my hometown. I hope my comments find you well. Armando

Great staff, great dentist! Ive been to a number of dentists since Ive never had insurance but try to keep regular cleaning appointments whether Im on the East and West Coast. Ive been lucky to have had a lot of great doctors (however Ive also been to clinics!) but Dr. Gould and his staff were the most thorough and professional. Dr. Gould’s hygienist took the time to explain everything she was doing, what it meant, and how to improve my overall dental hygiene for the future. Dr. Gould took the time to explain to me where he saw potential problems based on my x-rays, how they can be avoided, and what the next steps would be moving forward as we monitor my overall dental health. I was looking for someone knowledgeable that would help me improve my overall health and that’s exactly the experience I got. Dr. Gould’s office also takes GE’s Care Credit, which is a lifesaver to anyone that doesn’t have insurance but has great credit (and doesn’t plan on ruining it).

Ok, so Ive never "loved" going to the dentist, who does, but its a necessity in order to keep good health. Ive been going to Dr Goulds office for 8 years, since I moved to the area. The office is modern and clean, Im always seen quickly, and the front desk ladies are always friendly and efficient. My husband and I go regularly for cleanings and our technician, Sonja, is awesome! We actually schedule our appts around her availability. Im sure others are great too, but shes our girl :) The few times Ive had a filling or crown replaced and spent time with Dr. Gould have also been pleasant. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. All treatments have been comfortable and with little to no pain. I highly recommend Modern American Dentistry.

Ive worked with both Dr. Gould and Dr. Gray for over 10 years now--treating their patients with braces, Invisalign, lingual braces, and other forms of orthodontics. They are two of the BEST general and cosmetic dentists in the Southbay. They both are excellent clinicians, providing long lasting quality dentistry. Drs. Gould and Gray are honest dentists who truly care about their patients. They are committed to using the best dental labs in Los Angeles and I have seen their beautiful work first-hand. They work collaboratively with many dental specialists to provide functional bites and amazing smiles. The dental hygienists are highly skilled and hard-working as well.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Gould. Dr Gould told me I needed a bunch of cavities, and I didnt really trust him to be telling the truth. He is not so friendly, and pretty arrogant and rude. I think that he does an OK job as a dentist, checking up and his staff cleaning my teeth, but overall I did not trust him, or like him. When I changed dentists, he would not give me my Xrays for free, and charged me $25 for the xrays, which I paid for in the first place. There are many dentists to choose from, so I would avoid him if you can.

I have been going to Dr. Gabe for the past few years and during that time I have always had a great experience. From fillings to crowns, Dr. Gabe has taken very good care of my teeth. So, today I was in the office for implants and a tooth extraction. I was confident that the procedure would go well due to my trust in Dr. Gabe. Everything went very well and I am pain free on the eve of my oral surgery! If you are looking for a friendly office and a highly skilled dentist I recommend Dr. Gabe and his team.

I gave this four stars as Sonia was awesome! The pain point for me as a new patient was a quick exam by the dentist followed by youll need three crowns and here is my estimate. whoa, wait a second here! I have not had a cavity or dental problem requiring a drill in years. Dentist wants to replace older fillings with crowns. My position is if it aint broke no need to fix. I most likely will not return as I am not a fan of shelling out hundreds for crowns that simply put are not necessary.

So much so that I have been going to Modern American Denistry for over 8 years- as well as taking my kids here also for their dental care! Excellent experience, had a broken tooth and they took me right in. Best part was how they contacted my insurance and then presented me a breakdown of the final cost, with all my payment options. I fired my last dentist for never explaining what he was doing, then sending a large bill for something I would never have approved if I understood the cost!

Dr. Gould is amazing and Dr. Song came to the rescue when I had a dental emergency last year. I moved several years ago but still come here. Super professional and exceptional office.

I just had my yearly check up and cleaning. And it was fantastic!! My teeth feel amazing,(but I have a cavity) I loved Dr Gould and his staff . Dr Gould is super funny and makes you forget you are at the dentist..I would recommend this office to anyone who wants the best dental experience.. two thumbs up!!!
