Better Business Bureau has given them an F rating!! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!! BILLING ERRORS/MALPRACTICE GALORE!! AND THEN TREAT YOU LIKE GARBAGE AND REFUSE TO BUDGE WHEN YOU SHOW THEM BLACK-AND-WHITE PROOF OF THEIR ERRORS (ONLY IF IN-PERSON, BECAUSE THEY REFUSE TO CORRESPOND WITH YOU OTHERWISE). DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Never before have I experienced such an office that is composed of such inexperienced and careless receptionists, and stone-cold and stubborn-minded borderline-malpractice billing staff!!! My Story: I double-checked with them while in the waiting room, and asked them if my insurance would cover the full cost of the procedure for which I was there for on that day. They pulled up info on their computer, asked me my insurance company, and double-checked what I was there for. I was told that I would owe nothing and that it would be fully-covered by my insurance. So I went ahead and had the procedure done (lol, it was such a minor procedure that I honestly could have done it myself, looking in retrospect. It took the doctor less than 5 minutes to do it, with very basic things I could have replaced with a sharp knife, rubbing alcohol, cotton swabs, and a bandaid). So I walk down to the receptionist again after the procedure, and asked her again before I left, if I owed anything. She again asked for my insurance, double-checked what procedure I had done, and assured me I would owe nothing, and that it was fully covered by my insurance. WELL TWO WEEKS LATER, AFTER BEING ASSURED BEFORE-AND-AFTER THE PROCEDURE, BY MEMBERS OF THEIR STAFF THAT LOOKED UP IN THEIR COMPUTERS ALL THE INFO THEY NEEDED TO GIVE ME AN INFORMED DECISION---- I recieved a cute little bill in the tripple-digits, for the procedure. Obviously shocked, I very politely inquired with a certain employee there. I told her about me double-checking and giving my insurance info before having the procedure done, and being informed by their staff members multiple times that it would be covered. She at first seemed very concerned, and even admitted multiple times that it appeared as though the procedure should have been billed in a different manner, so that it would have indeed been covered by my insurance. She honestly had many mannerisms of [for lack of more polite way to say this...] oh crap, yeah, we screwed up, and assured me shed look into it and get back with me........ Well, more than a week after the day she gave me, and after 4 phonecalls and messages left either on her message machine or with co-workers, I finally decided to just go in there again to resolve it. Her attitude had totally changed, and was stone-faced unable/unwilling to help and said that nothing was done wrong on their end, and there was nothing they could do. I then spoke to her boss...who was even worse, and would barely let me explain my side of the story, and did not care at all that I had been informed multiple times during my visit that it would indeed be fully covered by my insurance and that I would owe nothing. Very stone-cold and customer-is-ALWAYS-wrong attitude, for billing. TERRIBLE experience. THIS IS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO LIVES ALMOST-LITERALLY A STONES THROW FROM THE FACILITY! I desperately wanted them to meet me even half-way, and just resolve this and put it in the past and move on. The convenience factor of having a doctors office right across the street was extremely attractive. But No... they wouldnt budge. At all. And were very cruel and uncaring with their attitudes during the whole ordeal, while I was being calm, polite, and explaining to them that I had been misinformed by their staff TWICE about the cost, before getting the bill. I WILL NOT go back there. And will definitely be contacting the Better Business Bureau after posting this review (and I urge anyone else to do the same---- These businesses CAN feel the pressure, if you go through the right avenues, and if there are enough people that stand up for whats right. Dont let the big-bad-billing-department intimidate you. The BBB can help you out, give them a try!)

This place is ridiculous. Not only are they booked for months at a time but they very unorganized. I was forced to go here for insurance reasons and since I have, Ive had nothing but problems. One experience out of many, A simple sore throat turned into pneumonia because they failed to get me in to see the doctors for 6 weeks!!. I was then hospitalized, put on heavy medication because it was so bad & told to follow up with my primary doctor in 3 days. But guess what! My follow up date wasnt scheduled for another 2 weeks and I was out of medicine. Not only do they take forever to get you an appt but they also fail to keep the date you originally agreed on. Several times Ive had them call me to re-schedule because they were under staffed or something else came up.!. They go thru doctors like flies. Ive been there a little less than a year and I have seen 6 main doctors leave. Ive also gone through about 3 of them myself. The doctors that Ive had are nice however they are so busy they cant take care of you like they should. I went in to see the doctor to be put on birth control and instead was sent home with anti-depressants and another appt scheduled for a pap to be put on birth control. 2 months later I was pregnant and my doctor was no longer in office and I had recieved a new one. Which then had no clue what I was talking about when I told him I needed a refill for my medication. & told me that unless Im seen by a psychiatric doctor he cannot even prescribe me the medication. Which was just prescribed to me a month prior at the same office, who was NOT a pyschiatric doctor. I honestly could go on and on about this place but I think you get the point. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They seriously need to get it together, peoples lives are not something to be lally gagging around about.

Horrible experience! The doctor was more concerned with my purse then properly diagnosing me. The doctor made several comments about my purse, then when she went to look at my eye she took 10 seconds (not exaggerating) then just wrote me a prescription for pink eye. I had to miss a day off work and when my eye wasnt better after 5 days and getting worse, I went to an eye doctor. He told me I didnt have pink eye and that the prescription that I was given was from the stone age. Then the New Haven Medical Center gave me the run around about making a comment. I was told the practice manager would call me to discuss my concerns. Six days has gone by now and no call back. Just called back today and the practice manager was given ANOTHER message to call me. Ive never been so upset with a doctors office then what I have been with this one. I would recommend going to another doctors office then going here and being pushed aside for the next patient so that they can make more money off of sick people.

Dr. Singleton is the best doctor I have ever been to. Every time I go in she remembers me and not just about my medical history but will remember even the smallest detail of my life that I have said just in conversation. She is very attentive and kind and truly listens to what you have to say or to how you feel. Due to insurance I had to go to a different doctor for a year and it was awful. I am so glad to be back under her care. Appointments are not an issue as I have read in a few reviews. If you express a concern or an immediate need to get in they will fit you in right away. I have called twice in the last few months with urgent issues and I was seen the NEXT DAY. Nothing is more important then people who actually care about your well-being instead of just another insurance to bill. Thank you for all you do there!
