On March 19th, we took our 13-yr-old Chihuahua to Meade Co Vet Hospital because her back legs were swollen and she wasnt eating or drinking. We thought her arthritis had gotten worse but Dr. Williams determined that it was congestive heart failure. As we were discussing a treatment plan that Dr. Williams felt would be very successful, our dog suddenly died in my arms. My husband & I were devastated. Dr. Williams and his staff were very respectful in allowing my husband & I time to grieve in each others arms. Dr. Williams and his staff are wonderful! We will continue to bring our pets to Meade County Vet Hospital knowing that my husband & I, along with our pets, will always be treated with compassion and respect.

Brought our cat here for a sinus infection. They didnt treat it aggressively enough and gave her steroids which weakened her immune system. She got bad as soon as the medicine wore off. When we had an appointment we tried to move it up because she was declining rapidly and the receptionist said "you are lucky to have an appointment at all" and we could bring her up there but she would probably be stuck in her cat carrier until her appointment time. We took her to another vet but it was too far advanced. They were even reluctant to fax the information over to the other vet we brought her to. I lost a friend because they didnt treat her properly the first time.

Meade County Veterinary Hospital saw our dog for the first time yesterday. We discovered and "off the charts" uti with crystals and blood in his urine (after addressing urinary concerns with his last vet in the spring and being told "hes a puppy"). Thankfully I followed my gut instinct and called Meade County after seeing wonderful reviews on their Facebook page. They did an amazing job of examining him and coming up with a treatment plan (which is limited due to his young age). They answered all of my questions and concerns and I could not be more comfortable knowing they are helping our dog get healthy again! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have 5 pets, all of which have had minor issues to major emergencies over the years. Since we moved to Brandenburg weve trusted no one else with the care of our pets. The staff is so friendly and always work to get us in as soon as possible for routine care, and allow drop off for those unexpected situations pets seem to get into. One of ours has a predilection for swallowing things he shouldnt and the vet staff here handled the emergency quickly and compassionately and had our pup back home by the next day. You cant go wrong choosing Meade Co Vet Hospital for the care of your pets!

My puppy got sick. He ended up with parvo. One if the vet techs-michelle- helped me from the start. She helped diagnose the illness and gave me complete instructions on the proper steps to take. She even answered every call(which was about 4calls over 2 days) with a positive attitude and happy voice. She was amazing. Honestly, she makes this office great. All five stars are for her. Thank you Michelle - you are my hero, and have already been telling everyone about you. Merry Christmas from me, and the pups( Jack and Houdini)

I recently aquired a 9 month old German Shepherd puppy and she was in need of shots and check up. I had never used a veterinary clinic in Kentucky because I recently moved there from Louisiana. Our first visit to Meade County Veterinary Hospital went great. The staff was awesome and they cared for my fur baby like theyd known her forever. Kady ( my fur baby) loves her doctor and clinic staff. This will stay my choice of clinics and you should give them a chance to shine for you also!

This clinic was not the clinic we had been using for our dogs. However, one of my dogs injured his knee and our regular clinic could not get him in within a timely manner. I called several other local vet clinics and none could compare to the help that Meade County Veterinary Hospital offered us. The overall fee for seeing my dog was no where as expensive as I was expecting it to be. Their treatment definitely helped my dog. Without any doubt, I will use this vet again.

Took my 9 week in for her exam and booster; everyone was so so kind and welcoming! They were great with my pup and were able to assist me with everything that i needed. I was in and out in no time but never felt rushed or like my pup wasnt taken care of. She was in great hands and made my puppy feel comfortable and safe! Great place to go; definitely recommend for all your animals needs.

MCVS is an exceptional facility with a compassionate staff. I have a small dog that can be very difficult to handle but the talented staff has no problem gently examining her. Every member of the staff is committed to providing exceptional care to all animals. I highly recommend this practice not only is the care superior the prices are very reasonable.

Ive taken 2 female dogs and a male cat here for shots, spay, and neuter and they are always super friendly. The animals were not scared to be there and they acted normal when they came home. No problems after surgery and they sent home pain meds. Very straight forward with the bill they tell you before your appointment how much each thing costs.

They are great with your pet and I wont take mine any where else!! I have 4 dogs and 3 of them are rescued dogs. The rescued dogs were skittish, but they let the dogs know it was ok and even gave them treats. Now those 3 are fine going there. I tell everyone to go to Meade County Veterinary Hospital for their animals health check ups and shots.

The vets here are very knowledgeable and caring. Our Mia had a crushed elbow when we adopted her and the whole staff took great care with her and researched her situation so she could keep her leg. I would recommend this facility without hesitation to anyone. The front office ladies are also great and very helpful.

Everyone in the office was very professional yet I felt at home. Super Dr & assistants! Office ladies get a big Kudos as well. This will be our new Veterinary for my 2 dogs & my cat. Who by the way, they found out my furbaby is a momma. Ive never had a cat & this will be interesting! Thanks to the entire Staff !!

Took my new baby girl Puppy in for her first shots. The office was great with us. They got us set up on a shot schedule and now our puppy is ready for the world. They had a serious condition dog in the office at the same time but everyone was so professional, I wouldnt hesitate to take any of my pets there.
