My 11 year old dog went to The Paw Patch due to diarrhea and constipation issues that had been on going for 5-6 months. After not getting any answers (and having my concerns dismissed) I went to The Paw Patch. WOW! The staff is so friendly and actually listens to you. Doc T is such a wonderful, caring man! They contacted the previous vet office and got my dogs records and immediately started a plan of attack. They did a complete blood count, urinalysis, stool analysis, x-rays and ultrasound and discovered that my dog has an impacted colon and a swollen uterus. They kept me informed the entire time and answered all of my questions. They truly are there for the animal and its so nice to have the assurance that your pet is in great hands. Doc T has more then likely saved my dogs life and I cant thank him and Molly (our vet tech) enough!!! I am very happy to say that I have found my new, full time, veterinary clinic!

Weve been clients of The Paw Patch for over a decade. Dr. Tysklind and his staff are incredibly attentive to our dogs - they get to know their health conditions and personalities well, tailoring the routine care and treatments each has needed to what is best for each of them. He and his staff are conservative in how they treat everything; they dont automatically jump to the most invasive or expensive treatments. Dr. Tysklind is also very tied into the specialty vet community, recommending us to specialists at Purdue and other nearby animal hospitals when the care our dogs have needed go beyond what he is able to do in his practice. At the end of the day, they are more concerned about what is best for our dogs than "keeping business for themselves". We cannot say enough good things about them.

Our family has been taking our dogs and cat to Dr. Erik Tysklind for many years. Dr. Tysklind and his staff have always been professional and very caring for each pet. Last week, Zelda, our 16 year old cat became ill. We got an appointment the same morning and after blood work, xrays, some other tests and an ultrasound, she was diagnosed with lymphona. Zelda came home for a week, and then Dr. Tysklind and staff were so kind and compassionate when we make the decision to not let her deteriorate further. After we said our goodbyes, we stayed with Zelda as they compassionately and professionally sent Zelda to heaven. We wholeheartedly recommend The Paw Patch. They care about both pets and the owners.

I have been going to the Paw Patch with my pets for years now. I use the vet services when any illnesses or injuries happen, and the staff is always awesome! The techs are friendly and helpful. And Dr. Tyskland is the best! So gentle and great with the animals, and a great listener! I also use the grooming services offered at the Paw Patch. I wouldnt take my little Betty just anywhere. She is blind. But I trust her with the amazing staff at the Paw Patch and with the associated groomers. I can tell they care for her like I would. Im very thankful to have found a vet and groomer that I trust here at the Paw Patch!

We have been going to the Paw Patch in its current location and previous locations for as long as we have lived in Indianapolis- 25 years plus and have always received excellent service and advice for our loved ones. Dr. Tysklind and his staff are knowledgeable and care about their patients and their patients parents. Yes it does cost $$ but doesnt any medical visit these days? We can generally find an appointment quickly and when necessary obtain same day service. When appropriate, Dr. Tysklind has a good network of referral vets for heart, eyes, certain surgeries etc.

Ive been going to Dr. Tysklind for over 35 years with 3 cats (2 had very long lives) and love the care Ive received. When my first kitty was at the end of her life, the entire staff cried with me. Ive followed him from his office in Broad Ripple to his current office on the West side of Indy and I would not have another doctor look at my pets. Im on my third cat and shes a bit of a handful but Dr. T seems to be able to get the job done. Hes caring and compassionate and will tell you the truth. The ladies in his office are great as well!

After 10 years with IVEC, I was fortunate to cross paths with Dr. T and staff. My special needs boy-pup has Addisons Disease and Dr. T has been our go-to for teeth cleaning, mass removal AND bladder stone surgery(s). He and staff truly cares and work in tandem with my dear pups, Fox, specialized vet, Dr. Guilespi at IVEC. I cant give Paw Patch enough praise for their true love and desire to ensure health and happiness for my baby, Fox, and myself. I adore them and would entrust my own being with them. Smart, friendly, and compassionate describes the entire staff at The Paw Patch. We travel over 45 minutes just to come to The Paw Patch. One of our cats was diagnosed with Lymphoma (and subsequent diabetes) and with Dr. Ts educated treatment and monitoring, our Henry lived 5+ years beyond his diagnosis - kind of unheard of in lymphoma cats. We are beyond grateful. We will continue to travel across town to use The Paw Patch - why go anywhere else when we know we have the best!

I have taken my pets (children:-)) to The Paw Patch for years. They have the best doctors and staff hands down. Friendly, upbeat, caring and compassionate best describes this practice. They offer honest diagnoses, and I never feel like they are gouging me. Unfortunately I have had to euthanize a couple of pets because of extreme illness and Dr Tysklind was so compassionate towards me and my pets when it truly counted. I highly recommend The Paw Patch!

The Paw Patch is excellent! Dr. T and his staff cant be beat. Our family has been there for everything from routine check ups, tick encounters, emergency xrays, and (unfortunately) euthanasia, and in each situation they have treated us and our dogs with the best care possible. They talk through options with you rather than just doing the most costly treatment...which I have experienced at other vets. I highly recommend The Paw Patch for veterinary services.

Way too expensive Im sorry but great service or not this place is soooo ridiculously expensive. Save yourself the trouble and just take your dog to a VCA. For my 2 girls vaccines and heartworm preventative it cost me over $600. Dont get me wrong, I love my dogs, but my goodness that was ridiculous. They could at least quote you a price before you take them in.

We love Dr. "T" and his wonderful staff! They are great to work with and truly care about your pet. They have cared for our cats for about 8 years, through all kinds of issues, and always explain whats going on, how they can help, and what we can do, too. All questions are answered whether in person or on the phone. We wouldnt take our cats anywhere else!

ive known dr. erik tiskland for over 20 years now and hes the best vet ive ever come across and he and his team all love our pets and do whatever they can for them to keep them happy and healthy as long as possible....wonderful people taking really good care of our precious pets....give them a try.....i think youll love them as much as i do...smile!
