I had a appt at 7:30 this Saturday morning. Which is hard to get, you need to make a appt least a month and a half a head of time get what you want. I always have to fast for my lab work. Im diabetic so the early the better. I arrived at 7:25 usually Im there early but I over slept due to being sick.there were 5 women there waiting when I arrived. When signed in I saw only 1 other person that had a appt at 7:15 and about 5 names before me ,they were all highlighted meaning she already checked them in .she called me up for my paperwork at 7:40 I didnt say anything at that time but when I saw she took all of the women before me I got up at 7:50 and told her I had appt that dont I have priority over walk ins? She said do you have appt 8:00 . That told me right there she never acknowledged my sign in time or my appt!!! She told me I was just getting ready to call you and you need to be here 15min. Early. Ok take another 10 minutes to check me but dont take every walk before me and know that I had appt 5 minutes after arriving. I have never complained anywhere before and I have several other problems with this Labcor but I had enough dont have time to tell all!! This is not the only Labcor I have had bad experience. Quest has been the best . Guess I need to travel further for better service!

My wife went to have her blood drawn this morning. The person who drew the blood this morning messed up and now my wife has a Blown Vein. She has a knot on her arm, major bruising and its painful she said. it is the inexperience and lack of training that has led to this. i would expect better professionals due to the pricing they charge for all of this. I have now called to express my concerns and have been on hold for 23 minutes so far and still no answer. This place is horrible and i highly recommend staying away from them!!!!!

Talent Wasted

Ive been here at least a dozen times and have had nothing but excellent service! If I am in Frederick for a doctor appointment and need blood drawn I will drive to Mt Airy to have it done. Granted I live in the New Market but for me it is worth the extra time and drive. I have only had to wait maybe 5 minutes once and the place is always impeccably clean. Every other Labcorp Ive been in is filthy and packed and makes me wonder if they bother to wipe down the chairs considering all of the hacking and coughing that goes on.

I went a few months ago and they skipped my name and I have 2 insurances and the lady told me she needed a credit card which I didnt understand why she would do that if my 1st insurance doesnt pay all of it my secondary does... was she trying to scam me? They made me wait a long time.... Im not gonna give my credit card #to anyone if she has all my information and my phone # then they can bill me. I have to have another blood test, do I really want to go there?

Never had an issue with this site, fast and friendly service and very neat and clean. Looking at some of the poor reviews, there is a corporate statement on their front desk regarding credit card captures. Its policy, not a scam. If there arent any appointments available till 7:30, be the first in line to sign in. Easy enough. I make sure to get there early and dont make appointments. Im in and out.

Went to mt airy labcorp on nov 16 2016 women at front desk was completely out cold asleep only woke up after I was signing in. She was extremely rude when she did wake up I guess because I woke her from her nap. I Complained to the man taking my blood he would not give me a number or name of someone I could file a complaint or give me the womens name who was asleep. This place is disgusting

I went on a weekday afternoon for some routine blood work, the office was empty. No line, no wait. Love it. The waiting room was very clean and the receptionist was very sweet. I was only there for about 15 minutes. After checking in I was immediately put in a room. The room was also very clean and the lady that drew my blood was extremely pleasant.

Been here three times for the same blood work. People do not show up for work so you have to wait forever for an your "appointment". Reception"workers" have no clear understanding of their jobs as everytime i go there they want different needs. CLUELESS, that is all i can say.

Apparently, this office doesnt make appointments until 7:30. I even tried scheduling an appointment all the way to the end of July. No 7:00 or 7:15 appointments available.
