Dr. Christie is very knowledgeable, thorough, and treats each patient as if it is her own. Her clinic is clean and her waiting room is spacious. Exam rooms are a little small, but not to where it is a major issue unless the entire family drags along. Her cat boarding area is very unique and I wouldnt think twice about leaving my animals under her care while out of town. Prices are reasonable and in line with those of other clinics. She takes her time and gets a complete history, as any decent veterinarian would. She made me feel comfortable with my pet being brought to the back and out of my sight by taking pictures of him during his treatment, which revealed that he was not stressed or difficult to handle. Her staff is very pleasant to deal with and professional. I will definitely be returning for future visits.

I have known Dr. McHughes for about fifteen years, and my experiences with her began when my son returned from a deployment to Afghanistan. Our old Rhodesian Ridgeback had waited for his daddy to come home before passing and Dr. Christies job was to put him down with two large men blubbering all over the floor. Her compassion and professionalism and she had just finished school, were so impressive that I have followed her from Vet to Vet until she now has her own practice. From that point on, she and her able staff have taken care of all of my families animals. I strongly recommend Crosspoint Veterinary Hospital for all of your Vet needs.

Anytime I call them or drop in with a question, they are always very friendly & helpful. The office itself is immaculate. I had never owned a cat before, a stray found me & hustled me into loving him- they were very helpful in teaching me about cats, dos & donts- What shots he needed & how often, risk factors of developing feline aids & more cat related diseases I had no idea even existed. They didnt treat me like an idiot because I was clueless about cats, they taught me how to provide the best care for him!

Best Vet in St Tammany. Dr McHughes and her staff are the best. They always make you feel welcomed and take the time to answer any questions you have. I never feel rushed. Dr. McHughes is the best at diagnosing and then making a plan of care that you can easily follow. She has been caring for our 16 year old Chihuahua who has diabetes and is doing great thanks to her attentiveness and her critical thinking skills. We have 4 dogs and 1 cat and would never consider going anywhere else.

We love Dr. McHughes and staff. They have been very accommodating when weve needed boarding (even last minute arrangements and extended stays) and emergency visits. Dr. McHughes is always straightforward with her assessments and involves specialists when and if she feels necessary. Crosspoint Vet Hospital has been great to work with since I moved to Madisonville. They are conveniently located but more importantly, have a great staff. Customer Service has always been great, including phone calls, fitting in appointments, and boarding my dogs. I have brought both my Lab and my daughters to Crosspoint. The reason I mention this is that my dog is a nervous wreck at the vet but my daughters is cool as cucumber. The staff is so great with both of them! My dog also has allergies and Dr is only one that really has helped without overdosing her with meds. We ( dogs & I) love it at Crosspoint and highly recommend them!
