They are all about the money. They are all smiles and compassion as long as the cash is flowing from your pockets to theirs. I noticed this about them before. I rescue freezing, starving, sick cats and dogs and I can tell you the vet bills are truly awesome, even going to Bell and St. Francis. But today I had a cat that needed antibiotics and they were closed so I called Blue Grass. They said they were booked up but would see the animal for extra money. So, 70.00 for an office visit not including the antibiotic. I told them that I was temporarily laid off, today was the only day I could do this because starting tomorrow I have to go back to work out of town, and I was low on money, and could they please cut me a break on the price just this once. They said that it was against their policy and they dont cut anyone a break, not even animal shelters.

I have Always had a good experience here... the staff are very welcoming and friendly the minute you walk through the door as well as very knowledgeable about what you and your pet needs. The doctors are very caring and considerate of your feelings and concerns. When we lost our Emmy to cancer they made the saying goodbye easier on all of us. They care about you and your pets. To me this is what its all about! Thank you Blue Grass Vet clinic for all you do!

Her staff goes out of their way to help and monitor the issues our rescue has had, and we could not imagine any other doctor except Dr. Werning taking care of our girl.
