Very disappointed to the point where I am transferring my wife and myself and 4 kids to another provider. They performed work on my daughter in February of 2015 and we have always paid as services are rendered. We had our estimate and paid customers responsibility as expected. Six months later in August we are being told we have a patent responsibility of $212.00. How can you ethically come back 6 months later and say that. On that day 08/13/2015 I asked for a print out from the day we started and there has never been a balance. That same evening I received a call from the accounts manager who told me they just received in the mail from the insurance company the forms for an appeal and they were handling that. I went today and I am told by the office manager that she is instructed to collect. At first there was no records of anyone speaking to me and after a few phone calls they found the person and the documentation from the insurance company. The office manager called back and spoke to accounting and today they said that appeal form was for their internal appeal for their fees and that $212.00 was the patient responsibility. They have chosen to blame a past manager for the deficiency which how does an employee mistake 6 months ago becomes my responsibility. I paid for my services today and the $212.00 and I will never go back. I do not like unethical or hinky business practices.
This place is the most unprofessional dental office i have EVER been too.I wouldnt recommend it to anyone!I took my 12 year old daughter to get 2 teeth extracted today and from the moment i walked into the room Dr.Francisco Azar and his assistant nurse Jennifer were very rude and just all around unprofessional.I asked to speak to the manager,Kerly Laoz,in regards to Dr.Azar and Jennifers behavior and instead of listening to me,the mother of the patient and the one paying them, the manager Kerly Loaz took Dr.Azar and Jennifers side.On top of that all 3 lied to me about a policy that doesnt exist! I had asked to keep my daughters extractions, which again i paid for out of pocket, and all 3 told me by law they couldnt let me have them. Therefore i googled it and also called 911 to double check and they stated there was no such law.In fact the state of Florida actually says that extractions CAN be given to the patient upon request of which they did not do and also lied about. These people are fakes! They dont even know their own laws! You should definitely reconsider before letting these unprofessionals handle you or your childs dental needs!
Terrible experience, this is the 3rd time I take my 4 year old daughter there they always make me wait but today was the worst day ever the doctor was late 1 hour, the place was filthy the floor dirty the chair where the patient sit was discussing the doctor was not gentle with my daughter at all she went in for a small filling he grabbed her so hard the my daughter has her check swollen my daughter cried the whole procedure and to top it off the Colombian assistant told my daughter at the beginning that she will give get 2 toys if she behaved at the end my daughter ask her for the toys and she said no Im only going to give you one cause you didnt behave and my daughter started crying and then she tells my daughter im sorry but I dont like little spoiled girls and at the end she did not give her anything not even a sticker who the hell she thinks she is thats not the way to treat a patient especially a child I felt like slapping her. People do yourself a favor dont go to this office they dont care about their patients they just care about the money extremely unprofessional and DIRTY, the place is disgusting i give them 0 stars.

*January 22nd was charged for a visit that the insurance needed to cover. *January 28th spoke to them and emailed them about the charge being incorrect. They acknowledged the mistake and said "itll take 4 weeks to do the credit" *February 16th I was emailed about the issue, and the email said "we will pay you once we get payment from the insurance" Really? I have to wait to get credit due to their mistake? No. Unacceptable respond by their Pediatric Manager. *Finally, after several emails and phone calls, on March 16th I received the credit. Their staff might be good, (Dentist, Assistants, Dr.) but their administrative staff is terrible, they have NO IDEA on what the insurance covers or not. I had to send them the link via email and show them that they were wrong when they kept on arguing with me about the issue. Never taking my kids there again!
Worst place ever once you already hook ,they provide you with wrong information , the professional at this place are all rude , if you do a payment plant get it in writing they tend to change their minds really fast after you are already hook in a payment plan with them. Also instead of using medicine they tend to rub your kid stomach and say that they are not feeling pain to concentrate on the stomach seen this done by JENNIFER (I pay for real medicine ,no for alternative medicine) . They invent new policies and procedures on the spot to suit their needs. Ask to see their policies before you do any procedures or sign anything with them and for the doctors qualification, not really sure if they are qualified after seen how they treat their patients. I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE
Im currently in the office with my 3 year old having her 1st visit. Her appointment was at 9am, it is now 9:48 & the dentist isnt even in the office. His staff keeps saying hes stuck in traffic, but theres No school today in Miami-Dade or Broward county. How is it possible that the doctor is late for his patients?!? Oh & let me not forget to share how his own front staff is complaining about how he makes it late most of the time and thats why theyre always backed up! When making my appointment I was told that they had a nice child friendly section (they do) unfortunately its still under construction. The management of this office isnt living the professional expectations for its under aged patients.
After 3 weeks he placed my veneer it fell off and had to go to the dentist here in Georgia to fix it with permanent crown(supposed to be)I suffered a lot of pain and sensitivity before it was fixed. Dr. Abril called me and left message called back to the number he gave me a few days later but no reply. Hope they can send me a refund for the warranty of the veneer that fell off , thats all that I need as they didnt charge me cheap for that veneer but he should place a permanent crown instead! Wont recommend to family and friends in Miami!
HORRIBLE OFFICE! DO NOT GO THERE! Unacceptable customer service, long wait, over crowded, over scheduled, unqualified and not properly trained staff and hygienists. If there is a change to your treatment plan they dont give you out of pocket cost in advance. Office Manager does not know how to do a service recovery. I went there 2 times and TWICE I received an awful service. Never again! NOW I know why people hate dentists offices, this is a great example!!! Choose your dentist wisely because this office is not the right one.
