I do not recommend this place at all for a few reasons... First.. I had several visits with my dog and had my two kids with me each time. I got a very strong feeling that the vet hated kids because every time my daughter would talk or just be a kid the vet gave me and my daughter both dirty looks. This feeling only got stronger with ea visit I made to the vets and I just couldnt shake it. Now I am very pregnant going in a vets office with a 14 month old a dog on a leash and a 4 yr old. The rooms were HORRIBLE with ventilation and when I mentioned how hot it was in the building the girl at the front desk got snooty with me and told me that she was comfortable and just fine and that it NEVER gets hot in the building. (yeah right) Second... I had a bill that was under $200 which I had made payment arrangements before my dog even had the services done. They made up a contract in which I signed that I would pay every two weeks. Well I told them my husband got paid on Fridays and I would just call in the payment on the Fridays I owed money. Well since I signed a legally binding contract stating I would pay on such and such day and they agreed to the amount it wasnt good enough. I got a call EVERY Friday stating that I owed a payment and they called me at 8 am as soon as they opened. Now I have worked as a vet tech before and have worked in billing for a very long time. Having someone call you to "remind" you of your payments at 8 am every week is not only unprofessional but very tacky. Seeing that I was already aware of my payments since I signed a contract and I was already making my payments and was never late. I could understand if I defaulted. But finally I had had enough and went off on Kasey who kept calling me. I felt very harassed and the lack of unprofessionalism in the office just made it that much more uncomfortable. I edited this post because the Vet Dr. Warren, saw this review, looked up my phone number and called me several times to "talk" about how she disapproved of my google review. Then because I didnt want to talk to her about a this review that I had written and my terrible experience at her office. She harassed me through e-mail and continued to tell me I needed to take my review down. Never once did she offer a sincere apology and denied everything that happened. This is freedom of speech!!

This vet may have been nice in 2005, but now its horrible. I used to be a veterinary technician and actually went to school for my Associate Degree, so I know how things should be done. I took my new kitten there for its first exam and shots. Firstly, I called ahead of time and was told that the new exam, shots, and everything he needed would be about $60. Then I called to make an appointment a few days later and was asked four times to VERY SLOWLY spell my very straightforward last name, which was just a waste of my time. When I arrived, I will say the receptionists were fairly nice, complimenting how cute my kitten was, etc. While I waited, I noticed the very out dated wall posters and advertisements, and dust accumulating on the bags of food for sale in the waiting room. This shows that they arent a very busy hospital, so they must not have many clients and probably dont do a good job and arent up to date on new technology in veterinary care. I shouldve left then.. Then after a few minutes I was led into the exam room, where the floor was disgusting. It looked like they hadnt cleaned it all day. The technician gave me a printed estimate of $60 for something I didnt ask for and said it would be added on top of everything Id come in to have done. When the doctor came in, she didnt even look at me or greet me or shake my hand. She looked down at the file in her hand and said in a very quiet, boring, and unenthusiastic voice: "Im Dr. Warren" and started talking about all the procedures she was going to do that I hadnt asked for and couldnt afford. I was given another estimate for $220. While the doctor was trimming my kittens nails to make their job of cleaning his ears earlier, I noticed the technician knew NOTHING about animal restraint. She squished my little kitten between her body and the exam table, and Im surprised his little leg wasnt broken. The entire time, I was completely unimpressed with the doctor, and I felt like I was just their way to make as much money as possible. Note about a previous review.. Their after-hours line is Animal Medical Center, and not Warren Animal Hospital. They have nothing to do with after-hours care.

So I was in the market for a new vet. After browsing google for vets near my location, and checking on reviews, Ill admit after reading some of the reviews on here, I was a *little* worried, but am now glad that I gave this location a chance. I noticed some people commented before about a smell, but this location smelled just fine to me, and if anything smelled better than other vets I have been to in the past. Doctor Warren seems very professional and I was happy on feeling that someone with experience was treating my pet. She came into the room with treats for my cat, to gain his trust right off the bat, and got right down to work as quickly as possible. Which leads me also to believe she knows how some animals really do not like being at the vet, and the quick manner in which she works saves every second of your pet having to be there. She was very informative with the information she gave me, and I felt like I really was getting some professional care for my animal. Her staff, were also very kind to me, and was happy to sit with my cat while I checked out. The cost was also a lot lower than what I expected it to be, even with the more expensive injection I ended up going with! I was very happy with this visit, and to anyone reading this I say to not give much heed to any of the negative posts here, there is always going to be a few people that are unhappy in situations, and no one can really help that. Give this place a chance, and you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be returning.

Warren animal hospital is THE best vet hospital my family has ever been to. Dr Warren deeply cares about your pet. She has rules in the exam rule to protect her , her staff and the animals owner. It is not a frivolous thing it is a liability issue. The hospital and staff have saved the life of many of our pets and they have grieved with our losses. The hospital is always clean (till your pet gets in the room and sheds or other things) It has never had an animal smell any where in the building. Dr. Warren and staff work very hard to care for the animals and not overcharge you.Dr. Warren can also do some amazing things for your pets with acupuncture, we had a cat who was shot in the back it caused her paw to curl in and she dragged it. Dr Warren did acupuncture on her and in 3 treatments her paw straighten out. She also saved the eye of a small dog we had that had its eye knocked out of its socket. I can go on and on but you get the picture. She is the most affordable vet in town. They have recently updated the decor and it is a simple hospital in the lobby because she puts her money in the back where your pets need it. I cant say enough great things about Warren animal hospital. If you had a bad experience you should look at your self and see if you where nervous or just unfamiliar with her procedures. Dr. Warrens will be the only Vet for us as long as we have pets.
