Moved here from OHIO { Wife made me take down and edit most of my earlier complaint } As reviews indicate some are very pleased with service here but as for us ...........worse VET we’ve ever been to in our lives. We’re use to much more one-on-one attention from VETs. OUR Dog has serious breathing problem that shows up only after little exertion but this VET wouldn’t take the time to walk the dog to see breathing problem even though admitted they do have an exercise area just for that. And from my unprofessional opinion is absolutely necessary to see just what is happening and turn light on our dogs’ problem to help find solution. Doctor appears to have not been a VET long enough for any experience to draw on without ordering many expensive tests. Doctor recommends FULL battery of more and more expensive tests and x-rays after x-rays. Openly admitted she didn’t have a clue what’s going on then left us in exam room to go attend the next patient without walking our dog or following through to find out our dogs breathing problem. We were stunned. If I was this doctor, I would have at least consulted my more experienced colleagues. I would have at least taken the dog out to walk/exercise her and see what’s happening. And at least returned call when requested …YOUNG VET ……….has a lot to learn. UPDATE : Ive had 6 dogs in my life time and PEPPER was the best little dog of them all. But she died in September 2016. Now last June Pepper had a cough that alarmed me. I took her to this vet ...the vet took some x-rays noticed a white spot where it shouldnt have been ...but ….the vet said…. she didnt know whats the problem. Claiming it could be a number of things maybe a fungal disease , maybe something else. charged us $ 242 and wrote us a $26 prescription for antibiotics. Pepper didnt improve so we came back 18 days later . the vet looked pepper over wanted to take more x-rays but just could figure out what’s wrong . “Again fungal disease was mentioned”. BUT , We were given a list of choices and tests almost $500 for more in tests and another prescription for antibiotics ... then this vet left us alone with our dog to decide for ourselves what to do. Were not VETs ....we havent a clue what to do…we came to you to tell us what to do… so we left your office paying another $32 and went to another VET. Now 6 weeks have passed and Peppers health is deteriorating fast a test was made for fungal disease and proved Positive for Blastomycosis. Pepper was put through a very strong and aggressive treatment like chemotherapy and intravenously flushed with expensive meds while monitoring her kidneys etc. another $1000 spent but all to no success …because by the time we discovered what the problem was the disease was so advanced if took her eyesight. With tears I put her down in September because her quality of life was gone. With 20/20 hindsight why in the world didn’t the doctor test right away for the most serious life threatening scenario ? Because if we had caught it right away the treatment would not have been so sever and aggressive and pepper would not have lost her eyesight and she would be health and with us today. I post this for the you VET…LISTEN …if there’s a slim chance that someone’s beloved pet has a serious disease that could make it go blind and cripple its bones and eventually kill it left untreated… test for that right away and eliminate that deadly possibility right away … Experience is a better school in this life then book learning… I’m not a college educated VET but this trial with our dog has given me the experience needed to detect it if I should ever come across it again. HAPPY NEW YEAR

I took my Chihuahua Tika to this office today for a broken due claw and her little paw was swollen and she was in ALOT of pain.. no thanks to Kinslow vet here in Lebanon who tortured my baby. I had to leave crying with my pups paw bleeding where they clipped it way back into the quick. without even telling me they were going to do it. and call another vets office. I called Animal Hospital.. Dr. Craig and his very sweet nurse (I didnt catch her name..) were so gentle with my baby and took EXCELLENT care of her.. explained everything to me before they did a single thing. which you dont get at every vets office here in Lebanon even though you should... I am the owner of 2 Pit Bulls a Chihuahua a cat and Gecko.. I will from now on use this office for all of my babies.. It is important first and foremost to feel like my animal babies are being treated with kindness and Dr. Craig and his nurse exceeded my expectations today in that area. they were able to see my baby as soon as I called and they got me right in. And even worked on her through their lunch break... to fix the mess the other vets office caused. they gave her pain medicine, antibiotics, cleaned and bandaged her foot sent me home with instructions for her care at home. and were very gentle with her. and that is EXACTLY why I will be using this office from now on and WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO ASKS!! Thank you Dr. Craig and staff for a GREAT visit today. and taking time out of your lunch to care for my baby. It was and is very much appreciated. Teresa S.

All-about-the-money, scumbag vet. Office. I got my sick kitty in their office due to her quickly declining health. They, understandly, insisted on the $50 checkup fee to screen the cat. However, they further insisted on thorough blood work and tests a half-day later, which were going to e in excess of $600+, excluding the initial and board fees. Upon retrieving my kitty, they wouldnt express ANY diagnosis or suggestion at all until we paid their ridiculous testing fees., and this was AFTER we had already PAID the visit fee. We also couldnt take the animal home without signing a particularly offensive animal death waiver. My sweet kitty died two days later, which is today. This isnt my first instance of bad play with this particular vet., but watch your step with this office. Theyre decidedly more interested in the money than the health of the animals they treat. Edit--update response to owners response: Your office didnt seem very concerned about my pets or her owners well being while refusing to disclose any suggestions or findings that might help her out. Also, its bad manners to call ANIMAL CONTROL on someone who gave you a deserved negative google review just because you didnt like it. (Lol) A word of advice: if your office doesnt want bad marks, try not earning them. Thanks, but unless its something meaningful or useful, I have very little interest in further discussing this matter with you.

Lebanon Animal Hospital provides the BEST care and service I have ever experienced with a vet. Dr. Wesson who I have gotten to know well over the years I have been going there is absolutely amazing with my pets as well as my husband and I. She truly cares and has a compassion that always puts you at ease when your pets are in her care. We moved to Lebanon, TN five years ago this is the one thing I will miss the most now moving for work to South Carolina. The staff always knows who you are and they treat you like you are a part of there family. They have helped us through the loss of our dog Macy and our cat Marie, they experience the loss as if it were there own. They always call to check on your animal after any procedure or just routine shots. We are so blessed to have had Lebanon Animal Hospital care for our fury friends. Thank you so mush Dr. Wesson you have been my rock with my babies and the staff for always being so welcoming and caring and always so kind. If I am unable to find care I know that you are only 5 hours away and worth the drive to take care of my Molly!!! We will miss you all, Carrie & Jeff McConachie
