Go here if you dont care about HIPPA laws and keeping your chart private and dont want to see correctly and be not serviced well!!!!!!! Poor customer service, and is not protecting your rights as a patient to privacy. Several problems: First problem was that they lost my chart, should have been a warning, then they finally find it and order my Glasses , but never officially placed order, this all began Oct 1st .. i followed up and checked on 12 they were not ordered - I think they couldnt find chart. they Call me Oct 22 glasses are in yeah. I go to pick up today and the Optometrist dont get to me for 15 minutes (btw this is my lunch break). I try on glasses and - they dont seem right i am telling her the problem she stops serving me in mid conversation and - starts working with the other woman making me wait... wow rude... Rude staff -- then to make it worse... if you can believe it in this day and age with all the HIPPA laws of confidentiality - my chart - and 4 other charts are all over the counter for everyone to see.... I wish i didnt have to give them a star !!!!!

I ordered contacts. They charged my insurance right away. I was told that the contacts would be in in approx 1-2 days and that they would call me. That was a week ago. I called today and was told that there was a delay and that the contacts should arrive today. Well see. The delay is not a problem. The fact that I had to call them to find out this information is terrible customer service. I dont know what their other services are like. This facility is in network for me, but I doubt that ill ever use them again for anything. Id rather just go to Target Optical, pay for out of network service and get reimbursed. MUCH EASIER than dealing with this. Were a family of 5. There is already WAY too much for me to keep track of. I should not have to hunt down contacts that were promised a week ago.

Got my eyes examined and tried the new prescription for about ten days. I was dizzy, headaches. Apparently the new prescription was wrong if compared to old glasses as per a second opinion from sears optical. At that point I didnt trust any so I decided to see another optometrist at bergen optometry for third opinion who stated the initial prescription was correct and I had to get used to glasses. I decided to return glasses and go to another place in Englewood who did a fantastic job. Wore my new glasses ASAP with little difficulty. All along sears optical was correct, bergen optometry gave me the wrong prescription TWICE. I wonder if this happens to a lot of people and people are forced to get used to glasses that dont have the right prescription for their vision.

This is my second time going to bergen optometry and as usual the place seems chaotic. Its small and very cramped. The eye exam is quick but thorough. However I highly annoyed because Ive been waiting three weeks to get my glasses. What they fail to tell you is how long the wait is based on your insurance and the things that you get out on your glasses. When I asked i got the generic answer of 7-10 business days. When I called a week ago one of the doctors I believe took the time to explain to me the process and told me that my glasses would in fact take 3 weeks in fact she was so sure to say by the end of last weekend I should have them. But to no avail i dont. I dont think i will continue to use them.

My Experience has been Beyond explanation of bad customer service. It’s been month they charged me and my insurance for my daughter specs and still they are not ready. I called them multiple time to check status and confirm me delivery date except telling that they will call me once ready they did nothing it took five calls to them to finally check status and they found that there was an issue in order , till now there is no date of delivery witch is kind of against any form of Sale and Law and but got there money and that’s what they care about If you are ready to wait unlimited with no accountability best of luck I never going to

Very unfortunate that a place that has the ability to be great is doing such a poor job. There are 15 people at a time waiting. If you have an appointment, do not expect to be seen at your appointment time. The wait is terrible. You have to wait when you are being examined and you also have to wait a long time for a simple contact check. Any time you enter this place you will have the same thing happen. They are never on schedule and the patient ends up just having to deal with it.

I love the staff there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. My glasses were ready before the time frame they gave me. Which was great for me because I was going on vacation the next day, and had lost my original pair. Great selection to choose from, and prices were great. THANK YOU !!!!!

My family and I are very appreciative for Bergen optometry. Our family had an emergency and they were willing to see 8 of us in such a short notice. The employees were very helpful and the doctors were phenomenal. They helped us with so much I would recommend them to everyone.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! Worse customer service ever! Doctor discusses finances in front of eveyone in office and talks about payment before greeting you. 10 people working at a time and no one knows anything! Would never ever recommend to anyone!
