I cannot believe the service I received here! The morning of the appointment is when one of my cats decided she did not want to go to the veterinarian, she ran away. This left me to searching all over trying to fetch her. After much time had passed I gave up and just left without her. Arriving to my appointment very late they still let me come in with the other two. However during the middle of the appointment my mother found my other cat and brought her in. They saw her as well. Everyone is the office is very kind, sweet, and had a good sense of humor towards me, my family, and my cats. I was very impressed by their professionalism and by their good-natured spirits. Im definitely bringing my dog there who is a crazy, crazy, dog. Get this - they called me the day after(Friday) and on Monday to check on how they were doing after all their shots. They really care about the health of my pets as much as I do. I respect this veterinarian clinic, and youd be crazy not to check it out and take your pet here they are top notch, two thumbs up, four paws up excellent.

I love the Mitten Animal Hospital and my experience with the staff! I first brought in my two small dogs for shots and blood work and although they werent the easiest to control the Vet and Vet Techs were very patient and understanding! A few days later I brought in the younger of the two to be neutered and I was extremely comfortable leaving him. The whole process only took 6-7 hours between drop off and pick up, and Dr. Coleman called us right after the procedure to let us know that our dog was doing great! He healed very quickly and overall the prices were lower than Im used too at other vets. Thanks Mitten Animal Hospital! I highly recommend this Vet if you are looking for a place with great prices, staff, and a clean and comfortable office building.

I took my new puppy there and Dr. Coleman said that he was perfectly healthy. I then took him to my regular vet (Salem) and the Dr. there found that his skull never fully closed, which can be extremely dangerous!! His joints are also very loose, which Dr. Coleman apparently didnt notice either. So much for a full exam and knowing what hes doing!!! I will NEVER take another one of my furbabies there!!!! How, as a vet doing an exam, can you not tell when there is a big hole in the top of a puppys head??? Their prices are astronomical as well!!!! I paid less for all of his shots, heartworm preventative and a REAL exam at my regular vet, by around $40, than I did for Dr. Colemans BAD exam with one month of flea preventative!!!!

We had a wonderful experience at the Mitten Animal hospital. We switched from another vet in town earlier this year because the vet was just ridiculously expensive. Dr. Coleman and the staff were wonderful with our senior dog. The care he got was very good and so much more reasonably priced. Unfortunately his health took a turn for the worst recently and with his advanced age we decided it was time to lay him to rest. I can not begin to explain how thankful we are to everyone at the Mitten Animal Hospital for the compassion and care they showed us on that very difficult day. When the day comes that we are ready for another pet, we will be bringing it to Dr. Coleman.

We have a couple of small dogs, so naturally they are terrified of going to the vet... But not at Mitten Animal Hospital. Neil the doctor was extremely kind and gentle when handling our two pooches resulting in a quick and easy visit. We felt extremely comfortable leaving our dogs in the hands of the very experienced vet techs and you should too! It is a reassuring feeling to know exactly where to go for the rest of our veterinary needs for dogs and cats :)

I had two feral kittens who needed help. The staff was wonderful the kittens were not being wonderful. Even though several staff members had wounds by the end, they were very nice and took great care of the kittens. (The kitten arent feral anymore) Thank you to the whole staff. Fabulous caring work.

I took my very hard to handle cat when it comes to the vets today for a check up. Shes 18yrs old and having some health problems. I was worried because I recently took her somewhere else and they had trouble handling her. The Dr.and staff were AWESOME with her. They are GREAT!!!!!

I have been to alot of vets around the area and none of them come close to Mitten Animal Hospital. They are very professional, caring, and they know what they are doing. The prices are great also. I would recommend this vet to anyone, I will not go anywhere else ever again.

I took my 2 puppy dogs to them and they are amazing. Super nice, very clean , and you can tell they truly love your pets. My Roxy and Rosie loved them too. Plus their prices arent crazy expensive like some places. I highly recommend anyone looking for a vet to go here.
