We have been using Westgate for more than ten years, altogether for four elderly cats at various points, and one elderly dog. Dr. Noble helped us keep two elderly cats alive, with good quality of life, up to ages 19 and 21. The same was true with our dog, who suffered from arthritis and had suffered a spinal core injury because of a dog attack. She received fantastic care, and we got excellent advice, including compassionate but honest advice when it was time to think about goodbyes. Every time we have had anything happen with any pet, Dr. Noble has explained not just the options, but the medical details, accessibly but not patronizingly. She has also encouraged us to get second opinions. Treatment has never been pushed. The entire staff at Westgate are wonderful people who care about the animals (and their humans). When we have had to board our cats, we have boarded them at Westgate. They get a lot of attention and great care.

Boot Leg

Professional, curtious, friendly, and just plain nice people that take care of, and love your pets! While costly, (what veterinarian hospital is not?) This place is well worth the money. If your pet is part of your family, dont they deserve to be taken care of like family? I say yes, and this is one of the places that will do just that!

A Private User

Not a great place for cats. They will charge more than what is necessary to treat a sick cat, and knowing you dont have a lot of money, they will try to push other services such as teeth cleaning on you. No doubt they care about animals, Im just not sure they care about people. You are better off at the Ann Arbor Cat Clinic.

This is the best vet Ive ever known. They take an analytical approach to diagnosis. I fully believe they saved my dogs life and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend this one all day. They actually care too.
