I have recently switched to Animal Medical Care for my boxer, Blitz. We were seeing another veterinarian closer to our home prior to switching. We thought our dog needed his first teeth cleaning, so I took him in to see Dr. Potter. Dr. Potter informed me that Blitz wasnt in need of a teeth cleaning quite yet and would actually advise against an unnecessary cleaning. He also let me know of a gum condition that boxers suffer from and he would be able to take care of that issue in about 8 months, when he will actually need a teeth cleaning. I have asked my former vet about his gums several times before and had never been told about this gum condition! I was very happy that the office didnt do an unnecessary treatment, just to take my money! Blitz also got a bath and nail trimming by their groomer Chris and he came home smelling so nice! Blitz was very happy when I picked him up at the end of the day, which he is usually very nervous at the vet. Even though its farther away from my home, I will definitely be returning to Animal Medical Care!

For the past 15 years we have taken our golden retrievers to AMC. Always they have been professional and thorough. One reviewer cited their pet not receiving a Bordetello shot. This is not a routine part of annual vaccinations because it is only needed if you board your pet. Never in 15 years have they not provided the care and treatment my dogs have needed. They do care and have excellent staff to support the doctors. I highly recommend them due to the consistent high level of treatment and care they provide. They treat their clients well so our dogs have never stressed when going to AMC. Doctors Potter and Funk have strong community ties and create wonderful close bonds with their clients, our pets. Highly recommend AMC.

This is one of the most comprehensive practices Ive dealt with in my lifetime. They do it all very professionally and courteously. Ive had dogs all my life and used many vets in different states; AMC is in the top tier of caring and convenience. I have a lab/retriever rescue now. He is the first dog Ive had that wants to go back INTO the building when I pick him up. Usually they cant wait to leave.The staff is wonderful, the vets are knowledgeable, the email reminders are very helpful, and the facility is clean and bright. The groomer, Chris, is thorough and caring. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend AMC to anyone.

Been using them for 30+ years, on cats and dogs. Routine shots & surgery, to emergency surgery . Great staff office and medical. Most recent visit, took 15yr old small poodle mix for update shots, also grooming. Her vision and easily spooked, told groomer if needed to sedate had permission. Went to pick her, staff says she did wonderful on check up and grooming NO sedation needed. Shes perked up and energetic since being groomed, great job and visit. One of many reasons my 5 dogs and cats go to them.

Worst experience by date! Would never recommend them!!!! My dog was suppose to get vaccines while being boarded there.... 3 months later when I board him at another facility, come to find out he was never vaccinated against the boarding vaccines!!!! What would have happened if that was rabies vaccination?! They never told me he did not receive his vaccinations; I found out by requesting them to be send at the new boarding facility..... Like I said worst experience of my life with this vet! DO NOT GO!

My wife and I adopted our kitty from AMC, and the adoption process was a breeze. Ive been going back for check ups/vaccinations ever since, and I couldnt be happier! The veterinarians and staff are all so kind and welcoming, and treat our pet with respect and love. Prices are great, too! Id recommend AMC in a heartbeat.

The staff and vets at Animal Medical Care are top notch! They have taken care of our family pets for years. I never have to worry about boarding my dog when we go on vacation because I know she is in great hands. Grooming services are great and my dog always gets compliments after a vet "spa" day.

The staff is great and know whats going on. The Doctors are atentive and nice and great with the animals. The wait time is short. The place is clean and dont smell like most vets. They have treats out for the animals. Great prices in general. Thanks Animal Medical Care.
