I took my samoyed here and got shots and grooming. I told them to cut him down to one inch. The groomer SHAVED my dogs mane off and took apparently a pair of scissors and cut small patches out of places in his fur. The rest of the fur was left the length it was when I brought him in (around two inches) He also smelled as if he had not been bathed. It looked like a five year old with a pair of scissors tried to "cut" my dogs hair. I asked what happened and the receptionist clearly annoyed informed me the groomer spent "5 1/2 hours on that dog". I said, She didnt do what I asked. The receptionist said, I know but she said bring him back in two weeks and she would get him down to one inch. I was charged $80 for the grooming. I just took him to his old groomer (in Alabama) and was asked if this groomer had been "smoking crack" when she groomed my samoyed if it is any indication on how he looked. Also, my old groomer said his undercoat had not been pulled out AT ALL. My dog was also given a flu shot which I did not authorize. My mother was paralyzed by a flu shot (transverse myelitis) and I would have NEVER authorized this. I was told basically, too bad youre paying for it and by the way its a two shot deal so you have to bring him back and give him a second shot. I informed them I would not pay for it and they ARGUED with me until they realized I wasnt paying for a flu shot I had not authorized. I recently moved to Chestatee and will inform every person I come in to contact with what happened with my dog at this place of business.

Dr Holton and his staff were so caring and thoughtful when I brought my dog maggie in for a visit. They served me coffee while I was waiting for test results, never had that happen before! I was very worried about Maggie when I brought her in but the staff made me feel at ease and kept me informed of what was going on as I waited. Dr. Holton was very easy to talk to and explained in detail Maggies test results. I was pleasently surprised the next day to recieve a call from the nurse to check on Maggie. I was very impressed. I will continue to take my pets to Dr. Holton for all her vet needs.

I had a great visit with my dogs recently. Excellent vet and staff. They were very helpful and answered all my questions and seemed to care about my dogs like their own. Overall a fantastic experience and the staff was very knowledgeable. I would recommend this vet clinic!

Terrific veterinarian. We placed a call late at night because our dog had eaten a poison pack that is used for preserving foods. We called Dr. Holtons office and received a call back immediately. Thank you Dr. Holton for everything!

I took my maltese "Greta Girl" for her spring makeover and she look great. I had her hair & nails cuts to keep her looking cleaner and cooler. She loves coming here and getting a treat from the lady at the counter.
